There are lots of NYX products that I love... most of them shadows and pencils. So I was eager to try this mascara but I was so disappointed with it! My lashes feel sticky for a long time, and I'm always worried that its putting black under my eyes. When I blink, I can feel the mascara sticking and it really creeps me out. I found that it did make my lashes look bigger/fuller when it finally dried, but not anymore than my two other fav mascaras, and they do it without the sticky goopiness feeling. For me, this mascara was a tosser and it found a home in the trash bin. Life is too short to have crappy mascara!

I have read some reviews of NYX products, but had nowhere nearby to purchase them. I ordered a few things online, and received them quite quickly. Without a doubt, one of my favorite products of all time is now NYX DOLL EYES MASCARA. Now, I'm a mascara collector. I gotta have long, long, long lashes. I've had lash extensions (not worth the money, my lashes won't "hold" them), I've tried primers, fibers, everything. I've had good luck with a couple of products, too. But THIS one is my favorite of favorites.
    Why?
    1. It works. My eyelashes touch my eyebrows when I use this. I don't have to put multiple coats on, and it doesn't clump. I have fairly long eyelashes, but they have blonde tips. This mascara is perfect.
    2. Easy to remove. I don't want to have to WORK at getting my makeup off. Especially mascara. As we age, our eyes don't need to be tugged on and pulled at. Our lashes surely don't. This mascara washes off easily with warm water and cleanser.
    3. Price. I'll pay a lot of money for a product I like. I really will. With NYX Doll Eyes, I don't have to. It's inexpensive. No, I'll say it...it's cheap. Not bad cheap. GOOD cheap. Cheap like..."Wow, this is so cheap I can buy 10 tubes of it at once and shipping will be worth it!"

"Picky" is too light a word for me and my opinions on mascara. I have no reservations whatsoever in saying that NYX is fabulous. I get no allergic reaction whatsoever, (and my eyes water from allergies easily), and it doesn't flake, clump or do any other unsightly, unbeautiful things. It's wallet-friendly, (a great plus in our current economy!) and it doesn't smell like cheap rose perfume like a certain OTHER mascara I've tried recently. (Horror story to follow...)

Give NYX Doll Eyes Mascara a try. It's one of the best chances I've ever taken on a beauty product, and I'll definitely be ordering LOTS more.

What it is: Mascara that contains micro fibers to help lengthen lashes. Claims to create a look that's similar to wearing falsies.

Where to get it: I got mine at Ulta, but I'm sure these are probably sold anywhere Nyx products are sold (try nyxcosmetics.com or cherryculture.com)

How much: $7.99 (at ULTA) for 0.28 oz.

What I like about it: I was skeptical at first, but since I really enjoy other products from Nyx, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did because I have fallen totally in love w/this product. It really, really works.

It didn't make my lashes look like falsies though, it made it look like my lashes were naturally long (which is much better!). Plus, I can almost swear that this product also helps to curl lashes. I didn't even curl my lashes when trying this out, and the outcome still looked like I did curl them.

I also like the size of the brush, it's small enough to get every little lash, but not too small that it takes forever to apply. Also, I didn't experience any clumping... always a plus!

What could be improved: No matter how many coats I did, this product didn't give me any volume at all. I understand it's a lengthening formula, but still.

Overall: I will most certainly be buying this product again and again! It reminds me of Lancôme Definicils Mascara that retails for $20 . The only difference is that the Lancôme one adds a bit of volume on top of skyscraper lashes.
