As a shoe rack, this works great, but if you look on Pinterest you can also find numerous other ideas for this handy little storage number.

First and foremost, it works very well for shoes. The hanging hooks can be hung over the door easily and the door still closes and the pouches that hold the shoes work great. Since they expand outwards, they can accommodate smaller shoes up to even bigger shoes like size 12 and 13. With bigger shoes you'll need to use one pouch per shoe, but for small flats and sandals you can easily fit two to a segment.

I've been looking for one of these for a while that has transparent pockets and the reason is I've found my dream use for it; hat organiser! Here in QC, it gets very snowy and cold and I have upwards of 20 hats, not to mention gloves etc, all in different designs. The semi-transparent pouches on this make it perfect to store my winter hats and be able to see the designs at a glance.
