Great food processor

Thank you butterly and paderno for the chance to try this PADERNO 3.5 Cup Compact Food Chopper with Vortex Blade for free!

This little food processor can mix, chop or purée! I like how compact it is making it easy to store.

The blades are quite sharp and it works very well when I tried to purée tomatoes

I like how the chopper doesn’t leak when chopping vegetables and the bowl is quite sturdy

The size is small but it is very powerful and chops very quickly. The noise isn’t too loud either which is a bonus

I would recommend this chopper!

A great helper in the kitchen!

We love a good home-cooked meal, especially making it from scratch. However, we look for ways to help in the prep now that we have the little one.

Whether we’re looking for consistent chopped pieces, a mixed, coarse, or puréed texture, this Food Chopper delivers with its Vortex blade and two-speed settings. Solid little chopper

Butterly and Canadian Tire sent me the Paderno 3.5 Cup Compact Food Chopper with Vortex Blade to try free in exchange for my honest review.

The chopper is hefty for its size, but the motor feels powerful at 400W. I didn't test it beyond what the instructions recommended as I want it to last, and have no desire for pieces to break off if I go too far. We went with veggies, meant for a sauce and extras to go into a stir fry.

There are 2 speeds and a pulse function, that chop, mix and grind food. You need to pre-cut items before processing them. As I learned, some may need more pre-cutting then others or you have different sized pieces or have to "help" food move along.

 Overall, the unit chops quickly and effectively, but it can very quickly over-chop if you don't pay close attention. At first, plan for sauces and soups until you get the hang of it!

Washing up has to be done by hand, and that's probably my only real disappointment. I would have loved to have less dishes to hand wash for convenience, not more. On a happy note, the bowl is shatter- and scratch-resistant, as well as BPA-free!

Powerful, fast and easy food chopping!

Do not be fooled by the size of this little chopper; the chopper is very strong for its size! This little machine is essentially a small food processor for quick chopping and making some pures. I used this to make tomato rice with chicken and was able to chop my onions, tomatoes and parsley in less than 2 minutes. It is quick to clean, easy to use, looks great on the counter and feels very well made. It does take some time to get used to the pulsing and you have to be careful not to over chop and end up with a pure (it is super strong and fast)! I actually love the compact size, it is very nice to make sauces and dips with. For the price, I'm not sure if it is completely worth it, but if price was not a factor, this is definitely a buy!

Great countertop food chopper

Absolutely love the sleek modern look of this Compact Food Chopper. It compliments my kitchen very well, while it’s small size means I can leave it on my countertop for everyday use. It has a 400 watt motor and a vortex blade with 2 different speeds that quickly chops up or purées food with ease. I really enjoy using this powerful chopper to mince garlic and chop onions. It also worked well on chopping nuts and fruits! With an easy set up and clean up this food chopper is a new favourite kitchen staple!
