The shampoo & conditioner are great on their own. I didn't find the shake did anything extra. It separates so you have to shake it every time you want to use it and there were times I would forget. If I purchase the shampoo and conditioner, I won't be purchasing the shake.

As one of the selected here on Chickadvisor I got to try this for free.

I've never been a big fan of multiple step conditioning or hair systems in general. To me it just means one more thing that a company/brand wants you to spend money on and I've never really found a huge difference with or without the extra step/product.

Pantene's Pro-V Aqua Light Conditioning shake is lightweight and smells nice like the shampoo and conditioner. I found myself forgetting to shake the product on a couple occasions and since I don't always use a hair drier or other heat items, I don't often need additional conditioning or heat protection. The needing to shake and just looking at the one layer floating on the other after it settles, made me think of salad dressing, like I was adding flavour to my hair but did not seem to find any benefits in the end to going out and purchasing on a regular basis.

I may continue to use it, just to use it up and so it won't go to waste but I doubt I will go out and buy it on my own as I just don't feel I need it.

In the end I'm greatful for my chance to review the set of products and look forward to trying other new products in the future.

To be honest, I didn't care for the product and it didn't do anything for my hair. I have fine straight hair that goes past my shoulders that is not chemically treated. I was excited about the idea of a heat protectant/conditioning spray in one but it did not live up to that. I did trials of the new Pantene Aqua Light line with just the shampoo and conditioner alone versus the shampoo and conditioner plus the spray over a 2-week period.

Absolutely no difference in my hair's appearance or manageability. The spray design also makes it hard to distribute in your hair evenly. I was also not a fan of the shaking... Sure, it's fun, but if there's that much separation in the bottle, I'm pretty sure it's separating on my hair as well. The scent is nice though.

It is definitely skippable in my books and I don't plan to continue using it now that the trial is over.

the threesome as a package is a great feeling of caring for yourself - other than that it didnt serve as effective as it should Now I feel it has an extra step to the usual shampoo & conditioning. The washing of the hair is not complete without all three being used - otherwise eliminating one step leaves your hair frizzy.

I had the opportunity to try out this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Before using the Conditioning Shake, I washed and conditioned my hair with the Aqua Light Products. The shampoo and conditioner were enough to leave my hair feeling light and moisturized, but the conditioning shake was effective at de-tangling my hair. I do not generally blow dry or straighten my hair, but to test out this product I decided to blow dry. The results were not as great as other similar heat protective products, but still left my hair softer and less damaged than if I had not used a product at all. I will continue to use the shampoo and conditioner of the same line but will most likely be skipping the conditioning shake in the future.

This product was an exciting one to try out. It claims to be a heat protecting spray, as well as a conditioning one. Of course, I can't be too sure whether or not it protected my hair from the heat. I can't really tell or say whether it conditioned my hair! However, I really enjoy using it, as it's a really fun step to add to my haircare routine and it's great for those days when I don't want to use conditioner in the shower or am wanting to add something to my hair. I also like the spray bottle and love how the bottle is clear, so I can actually see how much is left. Also, it would be a great product to use all over your head including the scalp, because it's not too conditioning. It probably wouldn't be a great product to travel with though, as there isn't a cap (at least on mine there isn't). It kind of has an alcohol-like scent, which isn't repulsive at all.
I would only recommend this, however, to people that are willing to spend extra dollars on hair care and don't mind extra steps. I feel like it's almost a luxury to use because it's just fun to use!

I am not digging this... I found that while it does hydrate the hair, it can weight it down and builds up. I feel I need to wash my hair at the end of the day to get this stuff out. I tried using it as a second day hair spray to revive it and add a bit of oomph and re-infuse it with some moisture, without washing, but it just makes my fair feel heavy and overloaded with product.

1. How was your overall experience with this product (e.g. effectiveness, quality, scent, etc)?
I like the smell of the product, actually, that is the best part. I enjoyed the packaging. I did not find a noticeable difference in my hair after using it for two weeks.

2. How did the product perform according to its advertised benefits (e.g. weightless texture, clean rinsing formula, hydration, etc)?
It did not perform exactly to the advertised benefits. I found my hair still dry and frizzy at the ends. I did not find it added extra conditioning. I spray it on after my shower when it is towel dried. I am very, very glad to have tried this product though as I use spray conditioners and creams to towel dried hair several times a week. I am happy I was able to test try a new products to compare.

3. Would you consider purchasing this product in the future and/or recommend it to a friend?
Based on the overall effectiveness of the product and the price point I would not consider recommending it or purchasing it in the future.

I found it too light for my hair and didn't give me the extra conditioning that I need for my hair. Usually I can feel the difference is other conditioning shake products, but none here. Maybe it's meant for fine hair? The smell was great though, but the price...meh. If people want to try it go for it but it didn't meet my expectations.

Also i dont know if its just coating my hair with product or not :( I only use this on the ends of my hair and it does feel softer, the smell of this is really really good! Its a more stronger scent than the shampoo and conditioner.

I dont think i would be repurchasing this since i dont think it seems to be doing anything for my hair. It's and okay product and i'd only recommend you to purchase this if youre looking for something new to try thats inexpensive.
