Shockingly delicious!

I am not a vegetarian and haven't tried many meat-alternatives, so I wasn't sure what to expect from these dumplings, but I was pleasantly surprised! They actually do taste and have the texture of real chicken. I boiled them from frozen and then pain fried them in olive oil, and served them with a spicy Thai sauce on football Sunday. Everyone who tried them enjoyed them - even the picky eaters! My only concern is the packaging - I noticed that the plastic was broken on several of the packages in the store. Regardless, I have a few friends who are vegan or vegetarian, and I love having another option to serve for them at our get togethers, that even the omnivores can enjoy!

Finally something for the vegans!

My whole family loved it! The 3 vegans and 3 carnivores alike! Everyone loved the flavour and taste and people were begging for more. The texture was similar to that of a chicken gyoza and the outside was nice and crispy while still being soft if that makes any sense.

Quick, easy & tasty

I love how quick and easy it is to prepare by steaming, pan frying or grilling. I fried it with one table spoon of olive oil for 2 minutes and then added 2 table spoon of water and added a lid to steam it for another 2 minutes. It turned out perfect. It has a unique flavour, so tasty and I really love the spices that come through each bite. I love that I can eat it as a snack, add it as a side or add it to a pita or pizza. It is so great that it is rich in fibre. Also great that it is free of cholesterol, soy, gluten, sugar and sulphite and trans fat.

I am absolutely obsessed with these, I’ve been buying them for the last few months and they are so easy to make, cook quickly, and taste delicious. I am not a vegan, but I can say that I like these even more than chicken dumplings! A must have in the freezer at all times.

I tried the Plantrophy Jackfruit Chicken Dumplings recently and was pleasantly surprised. The filling has a nice balance—savory with a subtle sweetness from the jackfruit that works well as a chicken alternative. The texture is tender but still hearty, and the dumpling wrappers cook up soft and chewy, just the way I like them. They’re easy to make too—straight from the freezer to the pan. I didn’t even need sauce because they were flavorful on their own, but dipping them in soy sauce made them even better. For a quick plant-based option, I’d definitely keep these in my freezer again.

Great alternative for dumpling lovers

Dumplings have always been one of my favorite dishes, but I’ve been looking for a healthier alternative and I found it with Plantropy !!
