Nice surprise

This was actually a nice surprise. The grains were fresh and packaged very nicely. I incorporated them in a number of my meals and found the addition very pleasant.

Great potential, not so fan of the taste

I would not actually buy this flavor in the future, but I would definitely consider buying the other ones from Pürgrains. They are very quick to cook and you can tell they’re qualit. Unfortunately, garlic is not my cup of tea – so is chili – and that’s why I will not cook that flavor again. I was still very glad to had the chance to try it.

Super convenient

I found Purgrains a very convenient product. Being able to just pop it in the microwave in it's own package for only 90 seconds was great. The food was done so fast and was perfectly cooked. It had a nice subtle lemon scent. The chili heat wasn't overwhelming. I definitely want to try the other flavors.

Pas mauvais mais pas excellent

J'ai eu la chance d'esseyer ce produit, par contre je n'ai pas vraiment aimé. Le sachet est facile d'utilisation et efficace. What the yum?!

Pur Grains "Thai Garlic Flavour" is a fine assortment of grains with a unique taste that I thoroughly enjoyed. I would probably buy this product again, however the product size is far too small for a larger family.

Easy to use but wasn't crazy about the flavour

I love finding products that make meal times easier. I was super happy to be selected for this campaign because this sounded like just the kind of product that could help me make a quick meal during a busy week. It was super easy to use - you just have to microwave it for 90 seconds in the pouch. I added my sample to three lunches I had meal prepped. They helped me to create a balanced meal, but I have to say, I wasn't nuts about the flavour. It lacked kick, and was generally just "ok" in taste.

Great tasting side dish that's easy to prepare!

Purgrains Thai Garlic Chili Flavour was super easy to prepare. I used the stovetop method and found that it was quick to get it warmed and ready to serve. Though the instructions indicate to use only 15 ml of water, I used more because I thought the product looked a bit dry. Tastewise, the product has a great flavour with a bit of a spicy kick. I did however feel that it was slightly mushy, and it could've used even more added water since it still felt a bit dry after preparing. Still a great natural product that's much better for you than other similar products.

Tasty and quick!

I loved the idea of a healthier side dish that was so quick to prepare so I was excited to receive this in the mail to try and review.

I enjoyed the flavour and bit of spice, though my young kids found it a bit too spicy for them. Others mentioned the texture being mushy, but I don’t find that to be a problem. LOVED that it only took 90 seconds in the microwave!

Good flavor, ok texture

This had a good flavor. I just did not like the texture, it was mushy. I like the idea of this product, quick serving of grains, I just hope the company tries to change the texture. Maybe add wild rice or something like that to it.

Delicious medley with a kick

This delicious and rich medley of grains has the perfect kick to it, we tried it as a base for a grilled chicken bowl with a fresh tomato salsa and got asked for seconds!
