Purely simple Pür Grains

An easy and simple solution for those busy days to get dinner on the table quickly. I was able to get this on the table in less than 30 minutes and it was delicious. The sweet and spicy was a great balance and took our Thai inspired meal to the next level. A great flavour combination that I will be adding to our rotation

Far exceeded my expectations!

I really didnt think I would like the texture of this, but I really did!
It wasnt the chewy goopy mess I assumed it would be! The flavor was alright as well, but I would guess that other flavours might be a little tastier!
I found this one chili forward. Thats just a personal preference though, if you want to add some heat to your dish-than give it a try!

Nice texture and flavor

I enjoy cooking at home and usually all the food that I make it’s from scratch. I was really curious to try this product as I love mix grains and thai garlic chili flavor sounds really delicious.
First off it was really easy to make, it took just a few minutes to warm it up.
I didn’t taste the garlic but definitely tasted the chili sweet and sour flavor. Love the texture and it paired very nicely with the fish fillet.

A quick and easy meal!

Thank you Chick Advisor for the opportunity to try the Purgrains Thai Garlic Chili Flavour Ancient Grains Side Dish for free! I like anything that can be turned into a quick and easy meal, so I was excited to give this a try. I prepared this in the microwave and liked that it was ready in 90 seconds. However, the consistency was a little mushy so if I were to try this again, I would prepare it on the stove top to see if I can avoid that. The combination of quinoa, brown rice, and farro was filling and the flavour had a good amount of spice. When eating and preparing meals, one of the main things I’m aware of is the amount of salt I’m consuming. In my opinion, this has a lot of sodium so that could deter me from purchasing it in the future. However, I’d still be open to trying other flavours and making more elaborate meals with the side dish to see if I can elevate the meal. #gotitfree #trypurgrains #productreviewclub

Not my flavour, but may try again

I enjoyed receiving my free product from Chickadvisor. Was excited to try the pürgrains, but I knew right away I wouldn’t be able to eat much of the flavour I was given. I don’t love overpowering spices, so the Thai Garlic Chili wasn’t my favourite. I did enjoy the texture, and the convenience. Would recommend if you like spice

I really loved the fact that this was made with whole grains like quinoa and farro. It's also pretty natural in terms of being made without artificial colours and flavours, which is a huge plus for me. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of spices so the Thai garlic chilli flavour was a little too overpowering for me and wouldn't have been my first choice. With that said, the price is really fair and the serving size is reasonable. I'd recommend if you don't mind a bit of a kick of spice!

Pur grains thai ...un must à adopter!

J'ai récemment été choisi par chick advisor pour gouter au pur grains à la thai ...et je peux juste dire wow! Je m'attendais pas à cela sérieusement c'est un accompagnement parfait pour compléter un repas et le goût de gingembre est bien présent et parfaitement en accord avec tout le reste. Je vais en acheter régulièrement merci pour ce beau produit et je n'ai pas l'impression de manger du rechauffer :)

Nice sidedish

This has great ingredients including quinoa and brown rice, with a lot of nice flavour. Super quick to make, making it a great side dish. Can keep it veggie based or add some chicken on top. I like spicy food so glad they had this option.

Thai Garlic Chili

I’m not big fan of spicy food, but these had just the right amount of kick to them. Very delicious. Super quick to make. I will definitely be trying the other flavours.

Vibrant packaging with subpar flavouring

I had an amazing opportunity to try the Thai Garlic Chili flavour of Purgrains with real simple, non-GMO ingredients. This plant-based side dish is made with nutritious and delicious ancient grains with globally inspired flavours. There are two other available flavours: Aztec Chiptole Flavour and Santorini Lemon Flavour. Therefore, I pan fried the grains and it is very quick to make. To add various sides, I chose to make steamed (overcooked) broccoli and lemon pepper oven baked yellow tuna along with a side of freshly cut red peppers. I was very interested in finding how these grains blended with the other sides. I did think the grains tasted more tomato paste and quite sour that overpowered the rest of the flavours. Aside from that, it tasted okay with only 400 calories per package surprisingly. It is high in fibre and iron. They did add in cane sugar into the packaging. I was a bit surprised. The packaging is flashy and beautiful. If it was on the store shelf, it would definitely capture my attention and want to buy in order to try it. My partner did say, he enjoyed Seeds of Change over this brand. I definitely think it was okay (not bad and not great).
