A great red shade, not as pigmented as MAC reds but for the price you can't beat it. I'm on my second one, and I love how it makes your teeth look whiter!

All this talk of Snow White beauty related products inspired me to add another red shade of lipstick to my arsenal. My lipstick collection consists of mostly reds, nudes and a few natural looking plums and the lot isn't large because lipstick in my opinion should not be collected as eye-shadows are due to the fact they spoil more quickly. I like to use them all up before purchasing more and since it was time to add some new fresh red's I purchased a Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick Shade True Red 009 about a week ago.

Formula: This lipstick is super creamy, glides on in a jiffy, keeps my lips soft and is gorgeously pigmented. I mean this formula makes the color super bright on my lips. Then against my pale skin it really stands out. This is definitely that look at me shade. The wear is really long and it never get's sticky or dull so the need to reapply isn't necessary. It also really doesn't have any perfume scent, it just smells fresh,

Shade: True Red 009 is a super bright cherry red and is cool toned. The fact that the color is so brightly pigmented makes it look warm in the photos but it's definitely cool toned. I actually thought it might appear more blood red on the lips which is what I was looking for but this is just as nice. It's true to color in the lipstick bullet photo. You can darken the shade or amplify it with extra coat's and liner if you like.

Packaging: The outer case is sleek black with a quilted look and the brand REVLON is stamped on the actual lipstick bullet. Very chic!

Bottom line: A fantastic lipstick that keeps your lips moisturized, has a long wear, gorgeous pigmentation and is a cruelty free brand. This is a product you actually might want to stock up on in your favorite shades or different shades because they are available in twenty gorgeous colors all together. I have no complaints other than going back to find a blood red shade for when I don't want to wear a super bright red.
