The Challenge is Real!

My family was happy to receive a Rubik’s Cube, the Original 3X3 Matching Puzzle from the Spin Master Game Collection. Our 9-year-old son is really getting into puzzle games, and this classic Rubik’s Cube is a perfect fit for the 8-year-old and up crowd. It’s a childhood staple. It’s a toy, puzzle & game all in one. I remember I couldn’t figure out the puzzle when I was a kid, and I still can’t. At least not yet. The challenge is real! “With 43 quintillion combinations”, it’s a very entertaining puzzle. It’s both frustrating and relaxing to play with at the same time! It’s fun to match up the colours. How many sides will you complete? How fast can you solve the puzzle?
I’m happy to see that this version of the original Rubik’s Cube is still a lot like the now vintage Rubik’s Cube from the 1980s. It still has coloured stickers on it, just better-quality and glossier stickers now. Makes it much harder to cheat (without the easy to peel off stickers). Not that I ever tried too cheat at this puzzle…. There is something so timeless and iconic about this humble cube. It’s no wonder the Rubik’s Cube is known as “The World’s No.1 Puzzle”.

Great puzzle mystery

The little one loves puzzles and mystery and like to keep her mind sharp. She had so much fun with this. It’s really educational and fun at the same time. When bored she would pick it up and pass her time. It’s great to see the joy on her face when it’s solved.

Gone are the stickers of the past!

#gotitfree Gone are the removable stickers of the past that we all tried to “cheat” the cube in the past. Now the 3x3 cube has solid beautiful coloured squares. This newer version also moves more smoothly than they used to, allowing kids (and adults) to keep improving on their solving time. My kids love it, and even want to take it with them places to use as a fidget toy. While the Rubik’s cube has been around for years, it has managed to improve and remain a go-to toy for kids of all ages.

Classic toy

When the package arrived, I’m not sure who was more excited; my kids or dad! Dad was excited to see a familiar and favourite toy and he enjoyed explaining how it worked to the kids. The kids enjoyed trying to “figure it out” and are still working on it. I think it will keep them busy for hours!

Great product

My son loves this the Rubik cube and was thrilled to open it. I will say he loves solving their puzzle, so he was already a fan! The cube moved smoothly and easily which made it fun to use and solve. It also had a good weight. My son definitely endorses the product!

Nice puzzle

I have alway loved the rubix cube and my son loves solving the whole cube. The mechanism is smooth when turning sides. Product improved through the years.

Bright and smooth

My son was happy to recieve this from Family Rated Club. He's played with other cubes before, but this one turns very smoothly. We both also noted the coloured parts are not just stickers which we appreciate.

A timeless classic

My son was so happy to get this! He recently had a birthday, and thought this was an extra gift. We tried for about 40 minutes to figure it out, sadly I could not. He is really working on it. Hopefully we can take time to finish it up during Christmas.

Great to keep in purses!

Our whole family has become slightly obsessed with the Rubik's cube, and I can't believe it took this long for me to try one! We keep it in the car, so our son uses it on long drives. I'm not gonna lie, I do too. We also bring it in stores and restaurants and it keeps everyone entertained. Now we watch the videos online together as a family of kids solving them in an insanely short time, so it's become quite a bit of a family bonding thing!
