It was interesting

I received this coffee through Butterly and tried it a few times in our espresso machine.
Upon opening the bag, I was pleasantly greeted by a warm, rich, banana scent. I found myself opening the bag here and there to smell the coffee beans, it was so lovely! I did sense a bit of ocean air as advertised, so I found that super unique.
I noticed that the beans are lighter in color compared to other beans I normally get, I don't know if that means anything or makes a difference in the coffee.
After making myself a cup of espresso with the beans, I did enjoy the scent of it. It was fruity, rich, chocolatey and banana like.
However I wasn't a big fan of the taste by itself. I found it acidic, and kind of sour, but can still sense the light banana sweetness with that salty air. I generally like to add cream and sweeteners to my coffee, and once I did that I found it was more to my taste.
