I usually do not like dark roast coffee because it gives such a bitter taste even when adding some cream to it. But every Kraken Blend coffee becomes a smooth, tender and enjoyable drink so I get my wake up boost right away. It claims it is infused with an ocean air, probably that's why it tastes so familiar and delicious. I chose whole beans for my coffee and I like my morning coffee aroma. Though it says it has twice the caffeine than any regular coffee, its rich flavour makes every cup an energizing adventure without any jitters and aftertaste. Amazing blend!

SaltWinds Kraken’s Blend Extra Strong Dark Roast has quickly become one of my go-to coffees when I need a serious caffeine kick without sacrificing flavour. As someone who loves a bold, rich coffee but dislikes anything overly bitter, this blend strikes the perfect balance. From the moment I opened the bag, I was hooked the deep, toasty aroma with hints of dark chocolate and roasted nuts instantly made me excited for my first cup.



Brewing it was an experience in itself. Whether I used my French press or espresso machine, the result was always a smooth, full-bodied coffee with a satisfying depth. The caffeine boost is no jokes it keeps me energized and focused without the jitters, which is exactly what I need on long, busy days.



I also have to give a nod to the packaging. The maritime-inspired design is sleek, and the resealable bag keeps the beans fresh, which I really appreciate. It feels like a premium product from start to finish.

Super Bold!

This coffee blend is so good and provides me so much satisfaction with it's flavour and power. I never knew that caffeine potency can be doubled on a dark roast but after trying this, I don't know how I can go back! The boldness and intensity really lives up the the Kraken name!
