I think I have just found my new favourite razor. The four blades really do make a difference! I am thinking of chucking away my Venus one. With Schick Quattro I get such a smooth, close shave... and no nicks! It's the best one I've used so far!

This razor is amazing! It glides very smoothly over your skin and leaves nothing behind. I usually cut myself a few times when I shave my legs with my Venus razor, but I have not recieved a single nick from the quattro. One negative thing I noticed was that hair gets trapped behind the lowest blade, and I can't figure out how to get it out (the back of this blade is covered in plastic, the other blades are open in the back, like the venus). This razor is expensive, as are the refills, but I do think this razor is easily the best shave I've ever had.

I'm ready to throw this thing out. I've realized that the more isn't the merrier when it comes to blades. I have to go over the same spot several times to get all the hairs (underarms especially problematic). Sure this protects you from nicks I guess, but the idea of shaving is for the blade to actually touch the hair. Oh, and forget it if the hair is long - god, it takes me like 40 min to do my legs if I haven't done it in a while (which is common). And the hair gets stuck between the blades and wont come out. But this is common with most multiple blade wire-wrapped razors, and not just this brand I guess. But the 4 blades heightens those problems. It's just not made for my hairy needs.

As far as disposable razors go, this is the top of the line from what I'm concerned. It provides 4 beautiful blades, which is just one shy of shaving off vital parts of skin mind you, and leaves skin smooth and soft. Blades last surprisingly long and are reasonably competitive based on pricing of similar items. And on top of it all, it's pink. There, I said it, it's eau de femme. It's on the heavier side, when compared to Gilette's Venus, but it just feels like it's higher quality than a mere disposable razor. It's the women's version of the male 4 blade, and it is well worth it for razors to be used in the shower!
For disposables, this is the way to go. If you want an even better shave, then by all means graduate up to my new and beloved Remington Smooth & Silky Ultra.
