Tried this eye makeup remover never heard of it. I guess at the time it was a new product but it really works great. I just put a tad bit onto a cotton piece and swipe across my eyes and my makeup comes right off. No scrubbing or anything with the first wipe it comes off.
I was given this, as well as their moisturizer. I wouldn't normally choose this brand, and buying for myself, I probably won't again. It works pretty good, but I seem to need heaps to remove my mascara.
It was hard deciding whether or not to recommend it, as it is very gentle on my eyes, and has never stung them, but it takes a while and I am keen to try out other brands.
At the beginning I wasn't actually dabbing at my eyes, and after reading the label I started to do that, which made it much more effect.
If you can be bothered taking a little longer to remove your make up, and you want something that is extremly gentle on your eyes then this would be great for you. For me though, this is not it.
I received a free 56 mL sample of this in the mail and I tried it out last night. I found that it didn't work very well at all, I had a hard time removing all of my mascara, even though it says on the bottle that it will remove waterproof mascara. It says it's "kind to eyes" but it made mine sting. I just didn't like it at all and would not buy it.
I received my Simple Eye Makeup Remover for free in my last GlossyBox. I am so happy that I didn’t pay for this at a store. On the Simple web site for this eye makeup remover it says that it effectively removes even waterproof mascara plus it’s a prefect blend of their ingredients. They say it has added vitamins such as Pro-Vitamin B5 witch they say is known to help restore, soften and smooth, no oil, no greasy residue, no dyes, no artificial perfumes and no harsh irritants to up set your skin. The also say that it has bin dermatologist tested, Ophthalmologist tested, that its safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens user, it hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic, what ever that means. LOL Well I use water proof mascara and I always have my doubts about these so called natural products. The instructions said to add a little to a cotton ball or pad and wipe your mascara away. When it came out of the bottle it looked and felt like it was just plain water. So I started trying to remove my mascara with it, but had not luck. I might as well have bin using just plain water that’s how ineffective this Simple Eye Makeup Remover is. I ended up with peaces of cotton ball stuck to my eye lashes, red sore eyes and I still had all the mascara on my lashes that I started with. As far as I’m concerned I would tell everyone to stay away from this so called “SIMPLE” Eye Makeup Remover. It doesn’t remove mascara at all, but it sure does feel like its removing your skin!
This is the second product I have tried from the simple line that I don't care for.I have also tried the refreshing facial gel cleanser. This would remove very minor makeup but I had a hard time removing my mascara and I don't want to use anything around my eye that I have to struggle to remove its such a sensitive spot.. It states its all natural and kind to eyes.It says its Dermatologist tested,Ophthalmologist tested and safe for sensitive eyes.I found this eye makeup remover way to drying and it really made my eyes water and left them feeling irritated .I would not purchase this product again.I usually use Yves Rochers Chamomile eye makeup remover it is also oil free but works so much better and gentler then this simple eye makeup remover.I don't think I will be trying anymore products from this simple line twice burned and not again.
