Pancake Mix

This is my favorite pancake mix. Ingredients are very important to me, and I prefer food without any unnecessary ingredients. I like the simple ingredients and the fact that the batter behaves without surprises, there's no ton of sugar, and the pancakes are delicious even cold and without honey.

I've tried the Sixteen Grains Pancake Mix and I really loved how easy and fast it was to make pancakes. This Mix is very easy to use and tastes great. The pancakes are so soft and fluffy. With this mix, you can easily make 20 pancakes.

Delicious and healthy

This pancake mix contains super clean ingredients and is made of while wheat flour so I felt good making this for my family knowing that its of high quality. The pancakes turned out fluffy, not too sweet. Would recommend

Excellent texture! You can really taste whole wheats So light and fluffy. It was also so convenient and easy to use. Definitely a great way for a quick pancake breakfast.

Great healthy breakfasts for the whole family

Sixteen grains has always been one if my fav Canadian companies for Artisanal flour (Canadian farmed!) . But now they have affordable pancake mixes that are easy to use and super fluffy and tasty. You can see the pancake mix isn’t like normal flour you buy at the supermarket but grittier, I’d say the texture when wet is kinda like fine cornmeal…and I like it. It’s fluffy but slightly nutty tasting. The kids like and next time I’m gonna go get the purple pancake mix for more fun on the weekend brunches. I’ll be heading to my nearest Healthy Planet again soon to pick this up!

Honestly, these were really easy to make and felt like one of those simple breakfast upgrades that makes mornings feel a little better. The Sixteen Grains Pancake Mix comes together quickly, and the pancakes turned out soft, fluffy, and not overly heavy.

Simple but delicious and easy to make

This was a very surprisingly easy recipe to follow that even my daughter took over! All you need is one bag of the Sixteen Grains pancake mix and add a few simple ingredients from your pantry. Honestly, one bag actually makes quite a bit of pancakes! The mix itself is also simple ingredients of whole wheat flour, sugar and baking powder. I love a good farm-fresh sourced ingredients but even more so when they are Canadian made products! Super super simple to use.

As for the texture of these pancakes they are slightly dense but fluffy. They're not too grainy though so I love that. I'm not a fan of when wheat products can taste a bit like cardboard so you can be rest assured these are not. I found they cooked evenly and well. All in all, it was a fan favourite for my kids!

Delicious and fluffy

I was surprised at how delicious these pancakes were. I'm always looking to swap out my white flour treats with whole wheat flour. I love that this mix literally only has a bit of sugar, and baking powder. I don't really have to add too many things to it to make enough pancakes for the whole family. I actually just add different things to each pancake and freeze them later so I have an easy breakfast later. I also found that these had a great "fluffiness to them"!
