Honestly, these were really easy to make and felt like one of those simple breakfast upgrades that makes mornings feel a little better. The Sixteen Grains Pancake Mix comes together quickly, and the pancakes turned out soft, fluffy, and not overly heavy.

Simple but delicious and easy to make

This was a very surprisingly easy recipe to follow that even my daughter took over! All you need is one bag of the Sixteen Grains pancake mix and add a few simple ingredients from your pantry. Honestly, one bag actually makes quite a bit of pancakes! The mix itself is also simple ingredients of whole wheat flour, sugar and baking powder. I love a good farm-fresh sourced ingredients but even more so when they are Canadian made products! Super super simple to use.

As for the texture of these pancakes they are slightly dense but fluffy. They're not too grainy though so I love that. I'm not a fan of when wheat products can taste a bit like cardboard so you can be rest assured these are not. I found they cooked evenly and well. All in all, it was a fan favourite for my kids!

Delicious and fluffy

I was surprised at how delicious these pancakes were. I'm always looking to swap out my white flour treats with whole wheat flour. I love that this mix literally only has a bit of sugar, and baking powder. I don't really have to add too many things to it to make enough pancakes for the whole family. I actually just add different things to each pancake and freeze them later so I have an easy breakfast later. I also found that these had a great "fluffiness to them"!

Absolutely delicious

The pancakes came out really soft and fluffy, with a light texture that doesn’t feel heavy. They have a subtle, wholesome taste, not overly sweet, which I actually prefer because it lets you play with toppings (maple syrup is a must for me). I'll definetly buy if when I come across it. I only used half the bag for now, and it made about 8-10 pancakes.

Easy & Simple

It’s always nice having pancake mix on hand for those slow, sleepy mornings. I like that it is made with farm-fresh ingredients and Canadian. I love anything that is easy with minimal effort. The instructions are easy to follow and most of us will have the ingredients in our fridge. My pancakes were bigger and thicker and it's nice for the syrup to absorb! tasty and healthier than alternatives

I realy enjoyed making and eating the pancakes using this mix. The ingredients list is very simple, which I appreciate. Since I am vegan, I do not consume eggs--however, the packaging suggests using applesauce or mashed banana in its place. I chose banana. It was very easy to prepare (add the wet and dry ingredients). One downside is that if you are following the directions, you have to prepare the entire package at once. It would be nice to include instructions for people who only want to make one serving at a time. The package ended up making approximately 10 pancakes. The flavour is good, and pairs well with narutal maple syrup. The banana flavour ended up being quite strong, so next time I would try applesauce or another egg replacer.
