Beautiful story and well loved in our house. I often buy this book as an add on to a baby gift although I often find it difficult to locate in stores.

This book is a # 1 New York Times Bestseller, written by Alison McGee and Peter h. Reynolds. It's a beautiful story about a mother telling her daughter how she has grown throughout the years from being a baby and what she can expect in her lifetime from hopes and dreams to having kids of her own and how when she is old and gray she will her. It's such a beautiful book. I'm not sure if it is because I'm pregnant but the first time I read this book to my 15 month old daughter I got choked up and teary eyed cause having a 17 year old son and I know how time goes by so fast and before you know it they are grown and spreading their wings. I hope that when my kids are older they look back and fondly remember me. If you get this book and you are emotional ensure you have a box of tissues nearby. I hope when my kids have children I will remember this book so I can get it for my grandchildren.
