Finally, a natural shampoo for coloured hair!

I have to admit that I was quite hesitant when I received SoyBIO+'s Fermented Shampoo at "Beauty Date x MTL" hosted by Skinvestment. This product is curated by Daint, a Toronto-based skincare beauty box company, and during the event, it was mentioned that the shampoo can be used for coloured hair. So, I thought why not give it a try and see how my blond and straw-like hair will turn out after using this shampoo.

My natural hair colour is black and I have coloured hair for many years, it's currently light blond. I've noticed that using SoyBIO+'s Fermented Shampoo, my scalp is less flaky and my blond hair doesn't feel as dry. I have long hair that goes to the waist and I love how you can easily create bubbles just by using a pea size of the product. By using this shampoo, my hair actually produced less oil, I believe that it might be due to the small quantity needed to wash your hair. Even though the shampoo is made with fermented soybeans, it smells nothing like fermented food. It has a very light peppermint scent, which is so relaxing and soothing as if you're in a spa!

Fantastic Green Shampoo and MORE!

I'm always looking for a great green shampoo ever since I realized most drugstore hair care were too harsh for my scalp and my skin. Not only this SoyBIO+ shampoo has a unisex scent, it is also free from parabens/paraffin, SLS and SLES. It is also animal orgin-free and safe for color treated hair along with chemical treated-hair and extensions.

SoyBIO+ claims to " improve scalp troubles such as dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, by nourishing the scalp and making hair roots much stronger. It also help to lower scalp heat and reduce hair loss, which can be effective for preventing alopecia."

My hair is untreated black, thin, long and naturally straight. I noticed my scalp was definitely less itchy/dry after about 2 months of use. My hair loss significantly decreased with time, and I know because I am the one who does the cleaning at home! I definitely would recommend this shampoo if you has issues with dry scalp or dandruff and that you're looking for a cleaner/natural alternative. This shampoo also acts like a body wash as well so it is a fantastic 2 in 1 travel friendly product! A little bit goes a long way!
