80% OF CHICKS DIG IT
I got these as a review for the product review club, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. They taste delicious. I much preferred the butter flavour over the sweet salty, but my husband felt the opposite. Great texture and taste. Really diggin it!
If you like pop corn chips , this is best of all brands in a market , not too salty , not too hard. So far I got 5 boxes for Christmas stocking , I think everyone will enjoy them, like I did. My favourite is butter taste , they very great with wine or beer , or just snack in front of TV.
I received the Special K Popcorn Chips in Butter flavour and Sweet & Salty flavour as part of the product review club.
Butter flavour - l liked the taste of these one the best. I love butter popcorn so these were good to eat with less the guilt. They did have a bit of a fake taste that I cannot pinpoint but all in all I liked them
Sweet & Salty - I am not a fan of the sweet and salty as that is just not my taste, but my kids like them and gobbled them up. they feel like they were getting chips =)
I really had high hopes for this product, but it was a big let down. Didn't taste good at all. I'm really glad I didn't spend any money on this. The real test - will the kids eat it? Well, they tried it and hated it - that says it all for me.
Even my picky 4 year old daughter loved these. They are a great healthy supplement for a snack. I loved both flavours that I recieved and have added them to my weekly grocery list and I cant wait to try some new flavours!

These popcorn chips are light like popcorn and they taste like popcorn. They make great snacks for both kids and adults. My kids loved them because they are eating "chips" and I didn't feel guilty giving it to them because they are healthier than regular chips. My two boxes of popcorn chips were gone in no time!!
Butter flavour - If you are looking for the deliciously sinner taste of real butter popcorn, don't bother with these chips. These are not going to give you the "Wow Butter" factor. However, they do taste a lot like microwave popcorn; so if you like microwave popcorn, then these are the chips for you. They are not too salty and have just a nice crunch to them that you can't find in regular popcorn.
Sweet & Salty - I LOVE sweet & salty popcorn. And I have to say, I was a little disappointed in this flavour. I can taste the sweet & salty-ness in them but they definitely don't have the Wow factor I expected. However, because they are on the bland side, they make great snacks for the kiddies (whereas my regular sweet & salty popcorn is definitely a treat for them).
Both popcorn chip flavours are good but I definitely prefer the butter one over the sweet and salty.
Thank you, Chick Advisor, for selecting me to review this product and for sending me Special K Popcorn Chips!
Being a popcorn addict, I was really excited to try this snack. I first tried the Sweet and Salty variety and was instantly hooked. This new trend in snacking is fabulous and satisfies both a sweet and salty craving all at once and the Special K Popcorn Chips did not disappoint. I would say they are a bit more on the sweet than salty side, but they are really good.
The Butter Flavoured Popcorn Chips were *Ah-mazing* and definitely my favourite of the two flavours. I loved them. Like really loved them. Salty and buttery and crunchy and delicious. The only thing I didn't like was that I wanted to eat the whole box!! With only 80 calories for 20 chips, it is a great low-cal snack, but I dare anyone to stop at 20. They are that good.
I would buy definitely buy these and try to practice a little restraint and stop at 20. OK, maybe 40 ;)
I was lucky enough to receive two types of Special K Popcorn Chips for free for the Product Review Club. The two types I received were Butter and Sweet & Salty. I wasn't a fan of the butter flavour. It was very bland and almost had an artificial taste to it. It was very crunchy which was nice. Satisfies that need for crunch without the guild but like I said, slightly bland. The Sweet & Salty was much better! I do like the subtlety of the flavour and again satisfied the need for crunch and snacking without the guilt. I'd definitely buy the Sweet and Salty but not the Butter Flavour.
I received Special K Popcorn Chips free to test for the Product Review Club. I received the 2 flavours: Butter and Sweet & Salty. The butter flavour was very artificial tasting and seemed like it had a powdery coating all over the chip. The crunch was very nice, but the flavour was less like butter and more like a very artificial tasting cheese product. I did not enjoy these at all and would not recommend them to anyone. The sweet & salty flavour, on the other hand, was again very crunchy and had a lightly sweetened flavour. I have always enjoyed kettle popcorn and this reminded me of that. I do not add salt to my foods, and sometimes find salty snacks too salty. The Special K Popcorn Chips sweet and salty flavour, however, were not too salty, but just right for me. I would recommend this flavour as an alternative to chips or crackers, and especially for those trying to watch their caloric intake. I will buy these again when I'm looking for a crunchy snack that is low in calories.
I was able to try out the new Special K Popcorn Chips for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club – sent to me where the Sweet and Salty and the Classic Butter flavor. At first I wasn't super sold on the taste of the Popcorn chips and found them to be a bit artificial tasting but then I found myself unable to stop eating them as they were satisfyingly crunchy – the fact that they are low calorie and relatively healthy helped too. They taste quite a bit like flavored rice cakes so not bad for some mindless snacking while watching TV. For a healthy snack alternative I think it is a good product and I would probably purchase it again – I preferred the Classic Butter flavor over the Sweet and Salty flavor.
