My first impression was that I had bought the wrong one as the colours seemed very bright and shimmery for me aged 42 to wear. I was wrong they are highly pigmented so that means a little goes a long way. They are buildable if you want an intense colour and can be worn on their own to create an easy smoky eye. Or you can use two – I have only ever worn two of these shades together as they are highly pigmented. I prefer a brush rather than the sponge applicator as I can control the intensity and placement better with a brush. For quickness and a different look, I have used the darker shades as an eyeliner, they didn’t last as long as a normal eyeliner but worked well when I wanted a certain colour to match my outfit or accessory. Would I re-purchase them to be honest I am not sure, my confidence in wearing make-up at the moment is very low and I just want a quick easy look plus I feel as a 42-year-old the colours are not mute enough for me to wear day in day out.
