90% OF CHICKS DIG IT
I have had acne through my teens and still do now that I am almost 50. When used regularly, this is a great item. I find the smell medicinal but not unpleasant. I don't think it provides a deep clean since a strong toner used afterwards doesn't leave the cotton ball clean, but it I do think its antiseptic qualities keep my blemishes at bay. My skin would be much worse if I did not use it. I would not have bought this myself but received it as a gift and am happy that I did because it is now a staple in my bathroom.
I have always heard about all the goodness that tea essence can bring. So I really wanted to love this product, but unfortunately I didn't. In fact, the whole line doesn't work for me. Even though it is supposed to calm the skin and fade blemishes, it did none of that. In fact, it made my skin looks red afterward (kinda like allergy or rash without the itchy part). But I guess it is just that my skin is not compatible with it.
Don't be discouraged to try it :)
I've always had acne. My mom still gets it. It's stubborn, genetic, and frustrating. This wash really makes a huge difference in my skin. Smells nice, the price is very reasonable (only about $12 and the Body Shop always has promos on), and one bottle lasts for a long time. I won't even bother with another brand again.
This face wash is great for whatever skin type. I find I have a combination face so it does a good job taking care of the oily spots and moisturizing the dry spots. It is literally a foam and I love tea tree so the smell and feel on the skin is great!
The Body Shop recommends this face wash for blemished skin, which I am prone to. I personally like the tea tree oil fragrance, and the wash itself is good for moisture level. My skin is not overdried, yet not oily. However, I wouldn't say I get a deep clean from this wash.
i am very impressed with this cleanser -- it has truly helped improve my skin along with the other products in the body shop's tea tree skincare line. it's very gentle, yet very effective. i like the pump for its convenience, but i feel like i'm going through product so fast. while i am happy with this, next time i'm going to try their regular cleanser (it's cheaper and you get more product). apparently the only difference is that one is a gel and one is a foam, but other than that they're identical. like it, but have a feeling i'll like the other one better.
I like this face wash simply because it doesn't dry out my skin. What I really like about this is the foaming pump. I like that I just need one pump to wash my entire face. Also, I find that one bottle lasts me several months (but I do alternate w/ other face washes as well). The price is a little on the higher side, but worth the money I think.
I've been using this face wash off and on for years now.
I have problem skin, and this is one that actually works for me.
Im really not a fan of the smell, but I really like the tightening sensation I feel on my face after I wash.
Makes it feel like its been really deep cleaned.
It is sort of a more expensive face wash, but its not unreasonable considering the results.
This is surprisingly meant for people with oily skin (yes, even thought is is tea tree OIL, it is still safe to use without fear of a breakout.)
The best Face wash I have ever had. The tea tree mint scent makes me feel fresh. I always use it atleast twice a day and whenever I come back form the market. Its my best friend for ever now. It also comes in travel case so its easier for me to carry whenever I am travelling. I love Body Shop products as they have worked wonders on my skin
