Love this! Love going all day without worries. Love that I can be way from a washroom, that I don't make garbage that sits in a landfill and not spending money each month on products that just aren't effective. Every woman should have a Diva Cup! EVERY WOMAN!

    The Diva Cup!

    Updated On: January 13, 2016

I love my Diva Cup! This product is awesome. What I like about it the most is that it is not expensive plus it saves you money not having to spend on tampons, you don't have to worry about changing it during the day or get up at night since you can wear it for up to 12 hours. It is chemical free, little to no leakage problems, comfortable, easy to use (there's a lot of different ways to fold the cup you can easily find videos on youtube for the different folding techniques). You can use the same menstrual cup for years if you take good care of it by cleaning and storing it safely which is very nice. No more need to rush to the pharmacy because you've ran out of tampons or pads. I totally recommend this product.

I just got my #divacup a few weeks ago and it was the first time I was eager for my period to come! I had done a lot of research on the cup and decided to try it out. I liked the idea I wouldn't have to worry about buying supplies for my period each month and that I would be cutting back on my waste. The first few days may take some effort to master the diva cup but had no troubles aside from some awkward sections and a leak or two (I was prepared for that to happen, I recommend wearing a pad or liner with the cup until you're comfortable with it). The cup never overfilled and it hase measurments on the inside so you can moniter the amount youre actually bleeding. In all I would recommend this for someone looking for an alternative to pads or tampons!

I read a review for Diva Cup on a travel blog and the person was raving about it for travelling while on your period. Given that I am planning a fairly extensive, active trip through the Alps this summer, I looked into it a little more and read some other reviews - most of them were very positive. It is not cheap - at $39.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart, it would have been an expensive experiment had I not liked it. However, this is only my second day of giving it a try and I am a complete convert. I will NEVER use pads or tampons again! Hallelujah! I imagine it will pay for itself relatively quickly. There is a bit of learning curve to learning how to position the cup, but it isn't impossible and is something that I imagine will get easier and easier over time. It is pretty incredible. No leaks, no mess, no more sanitary products going to landfill and filling up my garbage can and no odour. Honestly, it is just like not even having your period. This is a godsend for travellers and campers to be sure, but honestly, it is great for everybody. I just went for a run and no issues at all. I can't even feel it. This is going to sound strange, but find it less gross than disposable products and I also find it interesting to know exactly the volume of my "flow". If you can get over any squeamishness you have about it - give it a try - I am sure you won't regret it.

I cannot express how much I love this, this product inspired me to write product reviews. Every time I use the washroom I come back to my husband saying, :"I love this cup."
I do not have to take it out to use the washroom, no annoying string to deal with.
Lets be honest wearing a pad or a wad of cotton inside is so uncomfortable, especially on the lighter days, but this cup you can wear through it all. It did take awhile to get use to it, and position it properly. Ive had the odd day with a slight leak but one or two leaks are nothing, I just change it more regularly to ensure less mess.
my only complain is the end to pull it out, its hard to grip to pull out, at least for myself, but you just learn to use your kegels to get it out. Go buy this right now..... it will change YOUR PERIOD forever.

I LOVE my Diva Cup. I was having problems using tampons (irritation) and I really just don't like pads. The concept of something reusable, worn inside was really attractive to me. I do my best to not be in a position where I need to empty it in a public washroom. I find that emptying once in the morning and once in the evening (preferably in the shower) works best for me. It`s almost like not having a period at all.

I love my Diva Cup and Diva Wash and cannot say enough good things about them!

The Diva Cup is one of the best investments that I have made this year. It is a medical grade silicone menstrual cup that is placed inside your vagina to collect menstrual fluids. They don't dry your body out because they collect fluids and not absorb all body fluids that they come in contact with like tampons do.

You only require one cup to use during your whole cycle. Not different ones for different times during your cycle.

It's really not nearly disgusting as it first sounds. Tampons and disposable pads are much more disgusting plus, they can cause health problems. No need to worry about pee soaked strings or strings peeking out of your swimsuit either because they don't have any! I love that I don't get anymore rashes or chaffing like I used to get with disposable pads. Something in those didn't agree with me and I don't miss that at all. I have also read that many women experience less cramping while using the Diva Cup.

There can be a bit of a learning curve with the Diva Cup. It is can be a bit tricky at first, learning how to take it out and correctly inserting it. The cup has little holes on it that help the cup to section in place. It will leak if it's not inserted correctly. Otherwise, it shouldn't leak unless the cup is full or wrong size. It is so comfortable that you might even forget that it's there. But, don't do that since they need to be emptied at least every 12 hours. Some women may need to empty it more often. It depends on your flow and where you are in your cycle. You will learn what works for you.

You will need to experiment with finding a fold that works for you. Just google it and you will find lots of videos showing different folds. The Diva Cup website is the first place that I would look because it is a wealth of information and I have experienced nothing put excellent customer service with this company.

I wear a reusable cloth menstrual Pantiliner as a pack up to my cup. Even though I really don't need it. Many women don't wear anything at all with it. I just feel a little better knowing that I have a back up in place. lol You never know if you can get to the bathroom on time or if you didn't put it in correctly. Better to be safe then sorry.

Wash your hands before you remove the cup. It is recommended that you wash your cup each time after you remove it with a gentle soap or you can buy the Diva Wash and use it. I use the Diva Wash because that it what the wash is created for and I want to prolong the life of my cup and I want to avoid using anything harsh on my body. The Diva Wash is concentrated and lasts a long time. I also boil my cup after my cycle has ended.

You just have to remember that having your period is a normal part of life and there may be times when you might get a little blood on your fingers. Just wash your hands with soap and water :) Easy, you are going to wash your hands after you use the bathroom anyway.

I carry wet ones when I'm out in about in public. I use them to wipe off my hands before I leave the stall. Easy. I just empty my cup in the toilette then wipe my cup out with toilette paper when I'm out in public. Go home and wash it like normal.

On the Diva Cup website they recommend replacing the cup each year but, I have read that many people continue using there's for many years. You just need to take good care of it. I'm only on my 5th month and it's a little stained but otherwise it's in like new condition.

I love that the Diva Cup comes in two different sizes and the cup comes with a pretty little drawstring pouch to store it in.

I'm a Diva Cup user for life now.

Better for my body ... better for the environment ... better for my wallet
