"The Fault In Our Stars" is a very well written novel with great character development and thought provoking ideas easily blended into the humorous yet extremely touching story of two teen cancer patients whose ordinary lives make an extraordinary turn upon meeting one another. I loved the book and John Green's writing style will always make you love the characters as if they were your own friends. Make sure there are tissues near you when you read this book. My only disfavour when it comes to John Green and his novels is that they are a little anticlimactic - there's never that big boom or plot twist that makes you pause for a second. Nevertheless, I love his writing and how much depth there actually is to his stories other than just characters going through motions. If you haven't read his novels yet, do it. Like, right now.
I read the book before seeing the movie, and I was SO glad I did. The book is so well written, the characters very well developed, and the story is amazing. Make sure you have tissues near by at all times, this book will make you laugh one page..then cry the next.
What can I say about Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters except they take the ordinary and make it Extraordinary. I really enjoyed reading this book and following their story. Everyone should live life as if it is your last day here, live to the fullest and give everything you've got.
I absolutely loved this book ! it was great, even the movie wasnt terrible! it had me constantly engaged and couldn't put it down!
Wonderful young adult novel. The characters are strong, funny and, at times, sad. This book made me "ugly-cry"
This book was good. Characters were great and you really get to know them. At the end you really feel like you're part of the book.
Great quick read. Good writing which helps a lot. I have read a few other books of his and this one is the best.
Worth reading.
Loveddddd this book so much. Read it in my first year of university and fell in love with it. I read it in one sitting and have read it multiple times. John Green was able to keep me wanting to read faster to see the story of Hazel Grace. Beautifully written book that speaks to the soul :)
This has got to be the best novel ever.
It's very sad though you will laugh, cry and get angry right along with
Hazel and Agustus the main characters in this book.
IT'S A MUST READ BUT DON'T FORGET THE TISSUES YOU WILL
PROBABLY NEED THEM. I SURE DID
A great young adult novel. Be prepared to laugh and cry (mostly cry). Don't overanalyze and you'll enjoy this.
This was a good book, until I started to analyze it for a book club. If you don't dig too deep into the characters it is a pretty good book.
