I do not care for the Tide pods. I am a tried and true Tide user but I do not care for the pods. I find that they do not always dissolve as they should. Also, I like to control the amount of detergent that I use. Sometimes I use very little detergent and yet there are other times that I need extra for a drrty load of laundry. Also, I find them much more expensive than buying detergent and softner. I will stick to my regular Tide thank you!
L-O-V-E!
I used to make a terrible mess when it came to pouring laundry detergent. I always bought the large container with the spout on it, and I always had trouble with them leaking, etc. These pods are incredible! I first tried them as a sample from BrandSampler, and was instantly addicted to them. Just open up the package, pick up a pod - drop in the washer. Done! They are a little more pricey than the liquid detergent, but very convienient!
I'd definitely recommend these!
Pros: Easy & convenience. The smell is also quite appealing.
Cons: At least 50% of the time, the pod doesn't open and distribute properly so clothes come out with detergent stuck to them. Luckily this has happened only on hang to dry clothes so I could rinse out the detergent then hang them. I really don't want to find out what happens to the clothes if they go into the dryer with detergent stuck to them.
I quite like the concept of the Tide pods, but would only buy them again if Tide finds a way to fix the 'not distributing detergent properly' problem.
I love these and find that they work really well! They are convenient to use too! I wait until they are on sale because they are a little expensive. If you like liquid Tide then you will like these!
I like the Tide Pod's very simple, fast , effective as well . However a little pricey if the price went downa little it would be good .
i received a sample of this the spring meadow pods.
it smells good, is convenient as its in premeasured packs which allows no mess.quick and easy.
i would recommend it to try but for the price i think its more worth it to take a few seconds to pour it into the machine.
I got a sample of these and was happy with the results, although I don't think it will be replacing our usual laundry products. It was very easy to use, but I still prefer measuring out the detergent/softener for each load of laundry (because sometimes I use more or less detergent etc, or different products, depending on the stuff I'm washing).
The scent (Spring Meadows) was nice, but even after using just the one pod for one huge load of laundry (a big heavy blanket we use when it's cold out), the scent was a bit overpowering, even a day after washing. It's great that the laundry smells clean for so long, but it's more like a perfume than the fresh laundry smell that I prefer with my usual products.
Overall, I was definitely happy with the results after washing with this, although I'd like to try another milder scent if they have one. I don't think it's worth switching over to these from our usual laundry stuff but it would be nice to have some on hand to use once in a while.
Tide Pods came out earlier this year and I’ve tried them a few times through sample programs. They do clean just as well as the other Tide laundry soap products, but I’m not too thrilled with them. The difference in price just doesn’t make it worth the cost for me. I do a lot of wash through the week ever day of the week and I go through a lot of laundry soap. Even with the stain remover and brightener added to the pod it doesn’t make it a good deal for me. You can get more in a bottle of liquid Tide, or other brand then you can with the pods for less money. I use to buy nothing but Tide, but over the last few years I’ve change to Sunlight because it cleans just as well as Tide, but it doesn’t cost as much. Even though I don’t mind the Tide Pods I just don’t see the value in them to buy any and wouldn’t recommend them to you. I’ve also heard of children getting sick because they’ve gotten a hold of them thinking they are candy and have eaten them. I realise that’s more on the parents then the children, but it’s a scary thought. So the new Tide Pods gets thumbs down from me.
