I found this for half price at No Frills. It looks like actual sugar, but certainly does not taste like it. I have tried a few other brands currently on the market because my husband is diabetic. When I added it to my coffee, or iced tea, it made them taste very bitter. I think that it costs more than other brands that are currently on the market so I do not plan to purchase this product in the future.

Sweetness to my coffee

I got this has a sample. And I will be honest. I have used Splenda from such a long time as I am on a low carb diet. But I like truvia as well in my coffee as I like my coffee sweet but it's a bit on the costly side. It's basically a matter of choice. Splenda might seem better with some foods while truvia will others.

Not A Straight Swap For Sugar

Truvia is a calorie-free sweetener from the stevia leaf and can be used as an alternative for sugar.
I love to have sugar in tea, but was tempted to try this product as a healthier alternative. However, I found that if you are looking for a straight forward swap, then this will not do. It has a VERY distinct taste. (I was not a fan but my boyfriend did like it.) But we both agreed that there is no chance that you could be fooled into thinking it is sugar.

Overall, I suggest trying a sample of this first as the flavour is 'love it or leave it' and it costs a lot more than regular sugar.

Truvia is a great sugar substitute

I like stevia, but the flavour doesn’t lend itself to everything. I like xlyitol, but only in small quantities. Truvia is a perfect blend of both. I added a package to ricotta cheese with a splash of lemon juice, stirred it up and topped with fresh raspberries....it was so good I kept making more with frozen berries until I ran out of ricotta.

Great sugar substitute

I use this to replace sugar in a variety of recipes. Very sweet tasting. A little goes a long way. It can have a bit of a bitter aftertaste, especially if you are using a large quantity. Excellent for using in drinks, certain dessert recipes, and day to day cooking.

Exactly look like real sugar...no change in taste...would definetly buy this product again and again...you guys should definetly try it and you forget about the sugar

Great Sugar

I love using Truvia Natural Sweetener! It is a calorie-free sweetener made with a natural ingredient that is sweeter than regular sugar! It is perfect in baking ,smoothies and my coffee! I highly recommend this to anyone who loves sweetness!

Great for reducing

Was looking to use less sugar and be healthier this has been great for that a natural sugar with no calories which is double the sweetness so advices to use half the amount you would usually however I still find that too sweet so use a third of what I use too. Due to the texture, taste and appearance being just like sugar (only sweeter) it's been easy to transfer too for both myself and my children. Using less also means it lasts forever and means I'm saving as well as being healthier. Win win situation.

We love using trivia packets in our coffee daily. It makes our coffee taste great and I am guilt free since it’s zero calories. It’s also a huge plus that it’s all natural so I don’t have to worry about daily use!
