I bought this product mainly because I needed some kind of device to wake me and only me up in the mornings at 6AM, allowing my boyfriend to sleep in until 10 (lucky...). But it is so much more than a buzzing wrist alarm clock!

This thing tracks your steps, tracks your sleep and you can time stuff with it. I haven't tried the timing thing, but it is super interesting seeing how well/poorly you sleep, and how many steps you have taken in a day. It actually motivates me to walk more, however I don't really have the luxury of sleeping more. TOO busy for that.

All in all, I am really happy with my device. Even though I haven't quite figured out how to connect it to my computer...

I've had the Jawbone UP for a few months now and have been quite impressed. I got it on sale as I didn't want to spend a ton of money on something I wasn't sure I would stick with, but it has been very good and provides added motivation for me to get out and get moving. The App is fairly easy to use and syncs up with my Sparkpeople account. I don't use the food or water tracker on the app as I don't like the setup of that nearly as much, but the app lets me see how much sleep I supposedly had (although this is not 100% accurate because it only tracks movement while sleeping so it might say you were sleeping when you were lying awake and not moving around and might say you were awake when you were sleeping, but moving around while you sleep). It also tracks my steps, which motivates me to get out and walk more, and can be used to track timed workouts. The app tries to give you mini challenges to get you motivated. Overall it is a good basic tracker, not overly advanced, but good for a beginner fitness tracker.

I'm one of those people that LOVES data - any kind of data. I'm also an avid fitness enthusiast, so give me all of the fitness data!

This is a great little bracelet tracker. It isn't as advanced as I'd like (I would love a built in heart rate monitor) but the app is pretty and easy to use and it works in conjunction with other apps (IFTTT formulas, Apple Health, My Fitness Pal, Runkeeper, Map My Fitness, Strava, etc.) IFTTT will also then pair with Evernote or Google Drive to create a spreadsheet of your sleep.

It tracks daily steps and logs sleep (you just push a button to switch between sleep and awake mode) but I'm still not entirely sure how accurate it is especially for sleep. Some nights it will say I was asleep at a certain time when I knew I was laying in bed awake. You can also use this app to log your food/water intake but I don't track that myself.

It gives you daily pieces of advice and you can accept challenges (like towards a step or sleep goal).

This bracelet has made me want to see more data - I would love to get more info through Apple Health. But this does the job for now and it lets me nerd out a bit :)
