Fun Ice Coffee At

I received tje medium roast, Van Houtte Brew Over Ice K-Cup Hazelnut for free in exchang for my review. I don't often buy flavored Coffee so I was a bit nervous to try. I've got to say it was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised. I've tried the plain version of this Ice Coffee so I knew how to prepare it the way I like it which made for no learning curve. I found the hazelnut flavour to not be too strong which is nice. I am looking forward to trying other flavours in this line!

Easy to make

I absolutely loved the ease of this! Especially with summer coming up, this is a great way to make an ice coffee at home. As for the flavor, it was really smooth and not too strong. The hazelnut comes through and isn't too overpowering. I'm glad I read the instructions to make this and made it in a tumbler. Otherwise, I definitely would've had a broken glass. I'm also happy with the fact that the coffee is sustainably sourced and you're able to recycle the pods afterward.

Cold Brew Options!

Coffee is a a necessity to get through each day for me and pod based options are my go-to for convenience and variety.

Even though it's still chilly outside, the Van Houtte Brew Over Ice Hazelnut Coffee is a great option to switch up my coffee game. With a brew that is strong enough to be served over ice, it adds in a hazelnut flavour that gives it depth.

Love the hazelnut flavour and smooth blend!

Last year, I was lucky enough to be chosen to try the new Van Houtte Brew Over Ice Coffee K-Cups... and I just received the newest flavour in the family, which is Hazelnut in Medium Roast from Butterly to try for free in exchange for my honest review.

I love coffee and I also love hazelnut flavour in just about anything... So I really enjoyed this new hazelnut flavour, which filled my kitchen with the most wonderful aroma as it was brewing over the ice in my Keurig machine!

Here are instructions on how I made it:
First, I added water to my Keurig machine, filled a large mug with ice and brewed the K-cup pod on the "bold" setting. Then I added brown sugar and some evaporated milk. I even made it into my own fancy drink with whipped cream for an afternoon treat and it was delicious with the perfect, rich flavour and smooth blend! Looking forward to trying the other flavours!

Rich tasting iced coffee.

The rich coffee taste and subtle hazelnut flavour of this coffee does not get diluted when brewed over ice. You can customize the brewed coffee with any type of milk or even without, and adjust the type of sweetener and level to your liking. I even tried the coffee brewed on its' own as a morning beverage and it is delicious. The K-cups are recyclable and the coffee is responsibly sourced. A treat!

A fun twist on ice coffee

It doesn’t get much simpler than making deliciously flavoured ice coffee than with the Van Houtte Keurig cups made to be brewed over ice. Literally brew over ice add milk and you are done! The hazelnut flavour was really nice and meant that I didn’t need to add any other syrups or flavouring. This for sure will be my summer beverage go to!

A great treat

I love coffee, and I love having a special treat when I start work, even working from home. Butterly and Van Houtte sent me the Hazelnut flavored Keurig compatible Brew Over Ice Medium Roast pods to try free in exchange for my honest opinion. 

Brewable by any Keurig or Keurig compatible machine, using the brew over ice or strong function, the coffee is strong enough to hold up to ice. The flavor melds with the cold to wake and delight the senses.

My machine works best to brew it separately and then pour the coffee over an ice filled tumbler. I like mine with milk, especially in the morning, when I want my coffee sharp, rich, yet velvet smooth. I prefer to not add sugar, and the coffee is balanced enough to not require it. The Hazelnut is evident both in the scent and taste of the coffee. It's a true delight without added sweetness. It makes the early week so much more pleasant.

Strong hazelnut aroma

I was selected by @thisisbutterly to try out the new Van Houtte brew over ice hazlenut coffee for free provided I give my honest opinion.

I love how quick & easy it is to make a cup of iced coffee. My Keurig has 3 different settings for the cup size, I opted with the standard 8oz.

I used a ceramic mug as the instructions mention not to use a glass (can crack with the heat) and filled it up with ice and with a click of a button on the Keurig, coffee started pouring.

It smelled really good, the hazelnut aroma definitely made an appearance. I noticed that the ice obviously melted fairly quickly with the hot coffee, and therefore I ended up adding more ice.

I didn’t add any dairy or sweetener to the iced coffee as I wanted to taste the drink as is. The coffee flavor was strong but not too overpowering, I liked that fact that there was no bitter/sour aftertaste as it can happen with certain coffees.

Hoping next time to add a splash of milk to the iced coffee as that will definitely take it up a notch, however drinking the iced coffee black is just as good.
