A Clean Tint Sunscreen with a Strong Earthy Smell
The things I liked about this sunscreen included the tint the sunscreen had, the fact that it was mineral and had high SPF protection, and that the ingredients were clean. What I did not like was the pump as I found it a bit difficult to pump out and also found the smell of the sunscreen to be quite strong and earthy, perhaps because it is made with all natural ingredients.
The mineral sunscreen thats light on face
Tried the @vasanticosmetics Tinted Mineral Sunscreen and here’s what I honestly think:
✅ Blends like a dream – no white cast (even on medium to deeper skin tones!)
✅ Lightweight and non-greasy – perfect under makeup.
✅ Broad-spectrum SPF 40 – mineral-based and safe for sensitive skin
✅ Plus, it gives a soft tint that evens out skin tone just enough for that natural “no-makeup” glow ✨
⚠️ What you should know:
– The tint is very sheer — don’t expect any real coverage. If you’re skipping foundation, this won’t replace it.
– It’s not mattifying, so if you prefer a matte look, this isn’t it.
– For strong summer sun, especially in Canada, you might need to layer an additional sunscreen underneath or reapply frequently.
As a busy working mom and content creator always out and about in the sun, this is going straight into my everyday skincare routine these days along with my sunscreen !

Didn’t suit me
I used it right away after i received it. I like the packaging, the tube looks really nice and gives a high end feel. The pump makes it easier to dispense the product. The application was smooth but i felt the cream was a little oily upon application. It dried down matte after a while but the fragrance was really bad. My face smelt like chemical all the time. Later, when i looked closely at my face there were dry patches with the tinted sunscreen on and felt like my skin was pilling. I will give it a few more tries though but it didnt live up to my expectations.
