This product is fantastic- as a women of colour I fully recommend this lotion..one of the best I've used and I've tried a few!- Thumbs up and gives you a great glow, great scent and last the entrie day!
As the winter came, my skin began to change, so me being the lotion loving person that i am thought i would give this a try. I should have saved the 3-something dollars that i spent on this. Maybe it's just my skin, but it really doesn't moisturuze good enough for me. I am a person who washes her hands all the time and skin conditioning is very important to me, and this lotion does NOT fit the bill. If you don't like ashy skin, then leave this one alone.
Im not a big fan of lotions, but this one went on fast and sunk in fast so i wasnt worried about greasy hands.
Overall its a great product. Makes your skin feel smooth and moisturized while giving it a hint of fragrance.
i'm not a fan of vaseline in general but Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Butter Lotion is the best thing they've come up with since butter, lol. i have two kinds of the vaseline cocoa butter lotion, one in the tube is thicker and more greasy but i still love it for the winter time when my hands get dry the most. i recommend it to those who have very sensitive and dry skin.
When I picked this up I wasn't really looking for a new moisturizer, but the price and the size of the bottle made me think it might be worth a try... It definitely was!
It is a great moisturizer, a medium thickness and not even the slightest bit greasy. The scent is on the mild side, but very nice. I have tried other cocoa butter cremes that were lower quality and ended up having an artificial scent, but no this. It feels great and you can feel the difference in your skin days after you've used it.
I bought the 325mL size bottle on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart a few weeks ago for 1.99 (less a 0.50 coupon!). So, the price was great. My intention for this product was for some added conditioning to my dry skin throughout the summer. I wanted something that I could apply throughout the day without worrying if its going to wash off or rub off. It absorbs quickly and i find that a little bit of lotion goes a long way. I still squeeze out more then I need. I like the smell from the cocoa butter and the resulting smoothness that I feel. Certainly a good buy when its on sale.
Absolutely love LOVE this product. Cocoa butter is a fantastic moisturizer and melanin regulator. Not only does it deep moisturize, but it also reduces the appearance of stretch mark, facilitates an even tan and gets rid of tanning irregularities. It is perfect for wherever on your skin. I've found that daily use has made my skin very supple, reduced all pores, and evened out my skin tone. I consider this one of my basic necessities. And it's also so wonderful to get so much of it (725 mL) at such a low price. I've gotten it at a Loblaws in Ottawa for as high as $8.00 but it was well worth the price cuz it lasts so long.
Things that this lotion is not good for (just putting it here for people in case): relief from burns and cuts. It's better to use other creams like aloe vera for those, cuz butter tends to 'cook' cuts in skin.
I absolutely love this product...its cheap and i think its the best thing for dry skin.it has a lovely warm comforting smell (cocoa) and leaves my skin feeling so smooth and glowy:)
Works well and smells pretty...but it doesn't hold a candle to my Palmers Cocoa Butter lotion.
