great hydration but I think it is too rich and scented for my sensitive skin,(as it made me break out.)I believe it is a good product,it just isnt' for me
I received Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream as part of the ChickAdvisory Product Review Club. I was a bit hesitant using this product at first due to the fact that it states it as being 'rich' and it is quite hot and muggy here now. However, it glides on your skin very nice and doesn't feel very heavy at all. I wasn't a fan of the light perfume smell, not that it was overpowering at all, just my personal taste. I prefer to use this cream at night however, since I do find that it takes a bit longer to absorb into my skin, so I don't like to apply other products or makeup immediately after application. It's slightly higher price point than I prefer to pay for moisturizer, and I do have other favorites that are cheaper, but it does have a feeling a 'luxury' when using it. I might purchase again.
Update to my original review. I actually cannot go without this cream now. I ran out and tried to use another cream and my skin felt the difference. I bought another jar this week, it lasts a long time so the price point doesn't bother me. I absolutely love it!!
I have dry, sensitive skin, and I found this cream to be rich and moisturizing. I prefer to use this product at night because of how rich it is. It does have a light, pleasant scent and it didn't irritate my skin. I would say if you're looking for a rich cream that isn't very expensive and at a mid-range price, this product might be what you're looking for. For me though, it is not my holy grail favourite cream. There are creams from other brands that I much prefer over this one because they have other ingredients that suit my needs better.
This is a very rich cream. You do have to rub it in quite a bit. You do not have to use a lot which is great. I think it's too heavy for summer, but would be great for winter. I find that the scent is strong than what I normally use.
I have dry and sensitive skin; this product smooths my dry areas without making the rest oily. My skin feels hydrated all day long. It's lightweight and I love the smell of this cream. Great product!
I received "Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rich cream" from Chick advisor and I like it very much. My skin is so soft with this cream. The smell and the texture are so good. And i don't need a lot of crème to give my skin the hydratation that she needs so the product last me a while. The only things that bothers me it's because the crème didn't contains FPS to protect my skin against the sun.
Great quality of this rich cream product. My wife love it and will purchase soon. It's fantastik. Bravo Vichy you're the best company who understand the consumers needs.
This cream was so hydrating and nourishing. I received it free from Chickadvisor to test and used it for three weeks. This product will not disappoint. My face cleared up and has never looked better. Highly recommend it.
What surprised me the most about this cream is the texture. I was definitely expecting something heavy as this is the rich cream (there is a light cream available too). I actually love how it feels light on the skin, it is quite hot at the moment, so a heavy cream is not something i would go for right now! It has a light fragrance, something similiar to the Ponds cold cream scent and it doesn't bother me. I feel that my skin is more soft and moisturized than before, but i'll have to test it against winter weather to be sure that it's a keeper. I tried a sample of the light cream and it felt heavier and more tacky than the rich cream, which is quite odd. I don't think it is too overly prices compared to other creams I have tried (ex. Shiseido, Laneige), it is available at shoppers drugmart and i can always buy it with my points!
Please note: I received this item for free from Chickadvisor for reviewing purposes.
True to its name, this cream was really rich and moisturizing. I would probably be more likely reach for this in the dry winter months compared to summer. Using it now (in the summer) it almost feels too rich for my skin. The first time I used this cream, I made the mistake of rubbing it vigorously and the cream "pilled" off. After a few uses, I learned that the trick was to gently pat it in. Frankly, I personally did not like the smell of this cream.
