Great for acne prone but not sensitive skin

I love Vichy products, but have yet to try an acne treatment from them.On first impression, I'm pretty impressedwith the Normaderm Corrective Anti-Acne Treatment. It's pretty moisturizing and didn't burn when I applied it - something that often happens for me with acne products that contain alcohol. The scent is a light fresh melon cucumber scent, so keep that in mind if your skin is sensitive to fragrances. Overall, I would recommend it if you're looking to buy an acne controlling cream, but only if your skin isn't too sensitive.

Pour ce qui est du produit, j'aime bien l'odeur, elle n'est pas trop forte. Malheureusement, je n'ai eu que 5 jours pour tester ce produit, ce qui n'est pas assez pour évaluer profondément et à long terme. Ce que je peux dire pour l'instant est qu'il ne laisse pas la peau trop grasse et qu'il s'applique bien. J'ai eu des légères éruptions de bouton dans les derniers jours, toutefois cela m'arrive fréquemment lorsque j'essaie un nouveau produit. Ma peau a besoin d'un temps pour s'adapter.
Je vais continuer enthousiasment à l'essayer pour voir les effets à long terme!

Hydrating, but didn't do much for my acne

I found that I still broke out a little even after using this consistently. It does work to keep away smaller whiteheads but not larger ones. I have used more effective anti-acne products in the past. I did like that it was very hydrating, though, so it does a good job as a lotion. Overall, I would use other anti-acne products if your acne is more stubborn.

I've never used an all-over acne lotion because spot treatment intuitively sounds better for the skin. Since these products have medicated ingredients to target acne, I thought it might be better to limit the skin's exposure to only the problem areas and keep it off the parts of the face that aren't part of the breakout. This might be the case with stronger ingredients but I think the concentration of salicylic acid and LHA might be specially formulated to be gentle on the whole face in this lotion. I've only used it for a couple days so far but was excited to add a review since I #gotitfree for product review. Given that, I can't say with certainty how effective this is in combating acne but I can say that I haven't had a breakout and the existing acne I had earlier in the week seems to be shrinking away. The lotion has a light scent and feels luxurious and smooth when applied. I think it's a good product but I don't love the packaging. It comes in a pump with opaque bottle so you can't see how much of the product is left. I think I would prefer a transparent bottle so I can actually gauge if I'm running low. With the existing pump, the product doesn't come out easily, which could help to reduce wasting the lotion but I think there will be waste overall with this pump method. I think it's still sanitary and would maybe have less product waste if this came in a squeeze type bottle. I think this is worth a try for those who have moderate acne, especially when it goes on sale. I'm not sure if I'll get another bottle since it's not very big but I'll suggest it to my sister to help control occasional breakouts.

C'est un très bon produit très efficace et qui aide à garder une peau douce et fraîche. Je le recommande fortement à toutes les persoones qui ont une peau sèche.

Waiting for the miracle to happen

I wanted to right good things but sorry i cant.
I have really stubborn, oily acne prone skin.
I really really wanted to try Vichy specially when the women At shoppers drug mart highly recommend it to me.
Every time.

I dont know i m disappointed. For me it is just another product.
I dont feel any miraclous thing after using it.
Nothing has changed on my skin yet.

Sorry, as dramatic it sounds, i cant say this thing is for me.

I have read others say it has improved their skin condition a lot. I wish i coukd say that too.


It smells nice, little goes long way, instantly seeps in skin...
But that is it for me .

I will continue using it though..

Good product

Vichy is one of my favourite brand for skincare and suncare.
I've already tried other brands, but have to say this one does quite a good job on the acne treatment

It was okay

It was okay. Nothing extraordinary, but I did like the texture, it was so smooth and made my skin feel supple. As for anti acne I’m not sure, I was breaking out around my forehead but it didn’t seem to impact It at all, it prettt much stayed the same. #gotitfree also Vichy is not cruelty free:(

No new breakouts, but lotion 'beaded' up

I like this lotion as no new breakouts appeared for me, but I found the texture could be a bit funny when using too much or massaging the face too much. It started to bead up on my skin and not give an even application. With this being said, the texture is light and doesn't feel heavy on the face. I can't say that this really prevents breakouts, but it felt refreshing and clean on my skin. If you're looking for a lotion targeted towards acne prone skin, I would recommend you give this a go!

Great Productfor acne prone

I have actually tried this before a couple years ago...and My review still stands. Thasnk you chick advisor for sending things to me! This is one of Vichy best products! I will say as a negative Vichy is not cruelty free and I can't give 100% rating to anything that doesn't care about animals.

The Product:
The package is great, simple and cute. It's promises to reduce acne and scaring over time.

The Results:
As i'd mentioned i'd tried this previously and loved it. Round 2 of trying it now Over 1 night almost instantly reduced my acne. I can't say how it does over time for scaring as I don't have much scaring.. just constant acne. which could be a sign it's working. I would also say I have sensitive skin and things like proactive are just too harsh. This is actually really great for sensitive skin and it hydrates too. awesome!

The Price:
It's a little pricey at 30 dollars a bottle, But if you struggle with acne and have sensitive skin this is probably worth it.

The Bottom Line:
love it, Vichy please become cruelty free so I can buy it!
