love vicks!!! it rlly works but i wouldnt use it if your going somewhere it does have a strong smell but overall Great
Vicks Vaporub has been around for ages and is a definite classic with many uses. I rely on it completely when I have a cold - it's very soothing to rub on the chest or around a sore nose. It's also good to rub on the temples to relieve a headache, and you can put a teaspoon of it into hot water and breathe in the soothing vapors.
I especially like the fact that it lasts a long time, and that it's thick and doesn't dry or wear off.
I always keep this on hand. It feels great when you have a cold, you can just feel it working, and I actually like the smell. I put it on my son's feet when he has a cough and it seems to work.
I love this product. It helps with sore throats and everything else when you have a cold!!
I agree that this is a great product for the sick...but there is another use for this particular item.
Okay, this may sound strange, but I read it in a magazine; rub Vicks VapoRub on your sore, rough feet. Yes, I know, it sounds really dumb, but I tried it and I really liked how my feet felt afterwards. Give it a try, and if you don't like it, blame the magazine, not me lol.
Ahhhh, Vicks VapoRub. I love that smell. The ointment relaxes all those tired muscles in your chest and back from coughing. I find the best thing to do is to rub it in until it feels warm, and then after you get this nice cooling feeling on your skin. It works really well, for a small price.
This stuff works great. I rollerblade a lot and I like to rub this product on sore muscles. The best use though, is when I have a stuffy nose and/or cough. My humidifier has a little cup set near the top; I put a blob of Vaporub in it and my room is filled with menthol and eucalyptus vapours which soothes my nose and throat all night. I prefer this way over pills (which don't work at all for me). You can also smear it on your upper chest so that you breathe it in, but that makes me break out.
