These Easy Slice Mandolins are great! The blades on them are stainless steel, sharp, and VERY well made!
They're perfect for slicing carrots and cucumbers, plus you can switch the blades than grate your cheese with another one. It's perfect for just about anything you can cut or chop, onions, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, etc!
I found one with 8 different blades at a local dollarama, perfect! So excited to use it once again

I love this mandolin. I am a busy woman who loves to cook and preserve. This mandolin allows me to cut the amount of time it takes to cut a bushel of cucumbers into slices for pickles by 75% and each pickle slice is uniform in thickness. I have used it for other vegetables with the same amazing results. The only thing to say about this mandolin which might be a negative is that children should NOT be allowed to use it without an adult present or should it be left out on the counter when children might play with it unsupervised,

I searched everywhere for a mandolin that could julienne vegetables. I came across this Zyliss Easy Slice Mandolin on promotion at Bed Bath and Beyond. It has 6 slicers and comes with a small storage unit for the slicers. It also has a rail-guided safety holder so no fear of cutting your hand. I am looking forward to trying out new recipes with my mandolin.
