I love this book and the entire series, and everything I have read by Rick Riordan. It's an easy read but it's so compelling and interesting that you're not bored by that. The characters are dynamic. And to top all of that, it's a bit educational. I can't recommend these books...

This book was so good! I liked it much better than the twilight series. It is hard to get into, but the beginning being that way is needed to get the full gist of it. I saw the movie afterwards and was disappointed-- too hard of a concept to portray on film
