My friend and I went for a massage here. It was spa week so it was only $50 for the treatment. My appointment was for 50 mins, 30 for the body massage and 20 for the head/neck/shoulder massage. We were shown to a room where we both could get changed into our robes and lock up our possessions. After we changed we weren't exactly sure where to go. The woman that showed us were to go said we could stay in the room but then two other women came in and it got a bit cramped!! So we had to go sit outside with other fully clothed people and i started to feel a little self conscious in my robe. We had filled in a form just before our appointment and it wasn't till after when i was talking to my friend that her masseuse had told her we were given the wrong form!
My massage was lovely tho, very relaxing. Wasn't too keen on the head massage, it hurt quite a bit and couldn't fully relax. My friend loved her head massage so i guess it just depends on what your used to. She said it might even help people that get bad headaches/migraines.
Was relaxed at the end of my appointment and my masseuse asked me if she could get me anything to drink, i said no and she left the room. Then wasn't quite sure what to do, when i have gone to other places they have told me to take my time and get ready when i felt up to it but she said nothing, so I just relaxed. A few minutes later she knocked on the door asking if i was ok and i guessed that i should get up and get ready!!
All in all it was a good experience for the price, felt very relaxed/sleepy after but if I went back I would ask for my friends massuse as she seemed to know what she was doing.
