I just had the worst hair cut of my life. The lady didn't listen to a word I said and did her own thing. She ruined my hair, it's not even semmetrical, there are pieces longer and shorter that shouldnt be. I hate my hair so much I want to shave it off, I feel so ugly now. My brother had his hair cut from this same place from a short asian man and he did an amazing job, but the older woman that cut my hair should be fired on the spot, she is a disgrace to the name hair stylist!!!

So having just moved to the area and in need of a hair cut, I went to Onare based on the reviews on this site. While the staff was super friendly, as previously reviewed, I didn't find the place anything special. In fact, I found it kind of average. In terms of my hair cut, I brought in a picture and showed [my stylist]* what I wanted. Now she didn't give me exactly what I wanted, but she was super nice. She did a good job, but I couldn't help but feel that she was pricey for her level of experience and the haircut I got. At $60 I expect to get what I want. That being said, she knew what she was doing, but she didn't listen to me when I said I despised short layers. So all that being said - I think Courtney is a good stylist, but not necessarily worth $60 tax tip. I also think the salon ambiance is vastly overrated... and it was a little unclean. She didn't clean her brushes between appointments... and she was running behind from doing a men's cut. Anyways. It was just so so... I think I'll find another place instead...

I've just recently started going to Onare and was recommended to see Joanna for my color. It had been a long while since someone had gotten my hair color "just right" and she achieved that!! We've done dark and light colors and she knows exactly how to make each one right for me. She's awesome! April cuts my hair and also does an amazing job. She makes my hair easy to manage and look just as good at home as it did that day at the salon!!

Awesome Salon with great service! If you want to feel great about yourself you should check this place out. If you have crazy curly hair like I do then this is the place for you!

This is the only salon that I've ever been to where my hair grows in nicely. The staff is amazing to deal with and tons of great hair products to choose from.

I went to see Jo to get my hair chopped off and dyed and loved the way my hair turned out! The salon has a great welcoming ambiance. Can't wait to go back!

I love going to Onare. I always feel welcome and the ambiance is great. Mario has been my favourite stylist for several years now. Not only does he give me a great cut everytime but his cuts always grow out great too.

I've been going to Onare for years to get my hair coloured by Joanna and my hair cut by April, the results are just FABULOUS. I always receive comments on my hair!!! They are the dynamic duo when it comes to hair styling and I couldn't imagine my life without them. There is no better coloud technician out there than Joanna! Luv Luv Luv and would recommend them both to anybody!

I have been seeing Jo at Onare for colour for over 2 years now, and love her work! No one can get my hair that blonde!!! She also recommends great treatments when I need them!

I found Onare Salon after having a disastrous colour experience at another salon. It probably would have taken a miracle to fix my hair. I found it at Onare with Michelle Porowski. She did an incredible job of fixing the hack job and not cause further damage to my hair. She found a client for life that day. I have been with Michelle for years now and I adore her. She's so friendly, really makes you feel welcome and most importantly, listens to what you are looking for. I learned to trust her so much that when I gave her an idea of what I was looking for, I let her go with it. I never offer that kind of freedom to ANYONE with my hair. I've had some pretty bad experiences doing that before, but I trust Michelle completely. She knows her stuff and if something isn't right, she will tell you. I love that's she honest about what works and what won't.

I go to LadyLyn to get my hair cut. She is fabulous andn great at telling you what looks great for your hair type and face. The thing I love most about her is that she shares with your how to take care of your hair. If you ask her a question, she answers you with good information, tips and how-to's. I was never one to fuss with my hair and never could duplicate that "Salon" look. But Ladylyn has taught me the do's and don'ts well and I never get that feeling that I want to go home and "fix" what was done. I love how she styles my hair after cuts.

If either one of these ladies are busy, I don't want to see anyone else. I wait for them. That's how good they are :)
