Clairol Perfect 10 Hair Colour

If you're like me and don't have the extra cash to get your hair done at a salon, this product is for you!
It comes with a comb applicator which makes it super easy to apply yourself. If you have hair longer than your shoulders, you'll definitely need to buy two boxes! Since it only needs to sit for 10 minutes you'll have time for a do it yourself mani-pedi too :)

I wanted to go a little more blonde for the summer. So, I grabbed this, hoping it would work on my already light hair. Not a chance! It didn't work at all, my hair was the exact same color it was before I started!

The conditioner alone is worth the $15! This is fabulous hair dye. The glossiness lasts longer than other brands - I speak from experience!!!!
All I can say it try it! but look for it on sale. $13.99 is the best price I've seen since the $5.50 deal I got when it was first launched.

I loved this hair dye! It was really easy to use and the color lasted for a long time. Out of all the different brands of hair dye Ive used this one was the best.

I also like this hair colour. It's great for root touch ups between appointments because it's very natural and blends in well. I found it easy to match my hair colour with the available selection.

The instructions say if you are just doing roots to leave it on for 10 minutes and then comb it through the rest of your hair at the end. I prefer only to put it on my roots, which means I need to leave it a bit longer than the recommended 10 minutes or I can still see a few sparkles. I have been cursed with premature grays since 18 so I'm always looking for solutions! This product and Garnier Nutrisse are my two favourites.

I have always been looking for an "at home" hair dye kit that will get my hair the colour that i want. I have dark hair, and all the "dark brown" hair dyes that i have been using would always turn my ends black, and lighten my roots. Perfect 10 gave me a professional and even hair colouring job that I was extremely satisfied with. This has become by go-to brand, and I will never go back to anything else. The price is a bit higher than other brands, but you can get it on sale for under $12. When I think of all the money I was previously spending on dying my hair and trying to prevent it from fading, thsi product is definately a bargain, because the coulour lasts!

Its the best hair color product I've ever used. I've been coloring my hair for 20 years and this is the easiet, and best I've tried. Price is a bit high for me($14 box), but I get what I want. It lasts longer then all others as well.

I have long hair. I have alway had to buy 2 boxeds of hair color, because 1 wasnt enough and 2 was too much. I was wasting it because i had to throw away the unused product.
I found Clairol perfect 10.
It combs on and only takes 10 minutes.
I bought it.
It covered every inch of my haie.
It went on easy.
In 10 minutes I had the perfect hair color.It is a wonderful product.It lasts up to 28 shampoos.

I received a box of Perfect 10 in #9 (Light Blonde) to test. I have used box color many times in the past and eventually went back to the hairdresser just because it's so hard to find the right color (especially when the seasons change).... or was it because I'm no good at doing my own hair? I'll never say ;)

What I loved:
-it really works fast. 10 minutes or thereabouts covers gray and delivers the color it shows on the box.
-it comes with two applicators; a comb-like one that streaks the color in (like heavy highlights) and a single tip for all-over application
-Clairol includes a large tube of conditioner (remember the Dark Ages when all you got was a teeny little tear-open pack?), although this is more and more common lately.

What I didn't like:
-it worked so fast that by the time I was finishing up the sides and back of my head, it looked like the top was fully processed. I have really thick hair (and I'm not complaining!), so it takes a while to get through it all. This is the first time I've used a product that dyed this fast and I was unprepared for it. Should I have done the root test first? Yes. But I never do it, do you? Exactly.
-there was nowhere near enough product to treat all of my hair. In fairness, though, I always need to buy 2 boxes to get full coverage. However, in this case there would not have been enough time to dye it all before the sections that were colored first were totally nuked.

I recommend this for:
* women with shorter, thinner hair - if you need all over coverage
* highlights and/or root touch up - so fast and convenient!
* someone who's a lot better at this than me. I really should have known better.

The bottom line, though, is that I'm really happy with the result. I had outgrown highlights before application, so against all odds I ended up with exactly what I would have wanted (even if unexpected!). Fast, convenient, and true to box picture. Really, what else matters?

I bought this hair color because I thought 10 minutes that would be great and it was great. My hair turned out perfect in 10. It was shiny and the color was perfect just like I wanted. I was so pleased and will be using nothing but Perfect 10 in the future. I must also add that I have gray hair and it covered my gray beautifully which I have had problems with in the past with some hair colors.
