reviews I bought this product because it caught my eye with the bright orange packaging, and the commercial was rather convinving. So I got home and was actually kind of excited to use it. And when I did, I think i stroked it onto my lashes about a million times, to make it look really thick and long.. I wasnt so satisfied. And I was really upset because I got the waterproof one, and without paying attention I got the brown color, and it looks horrible, like mud on your eyelashes. Its also really chunky and dries up really fast, and flakes. reviews I like the look of full lashes and I don't think this mascara does what it promises to do. I have to apply a few coats to get the fullness I want. I don't think I would buy it again [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. ![]() My overall rating ![]() By:ShOrTeEdF On:Aug 13, 2008 1 out of 1 chicks found this useful ShOrTeEdF has 6
reviews I was psyched when I bought this product because i looked at the little rubber brush thinking how on earth could this make my lashes clump together?! [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. I bought lash blast because it was cheaper than my regular mascara, lash exact. I found the container huge, and the brush way too big. i can't help but get mascara all over myself because the brush is stupidly big. I would not buy this again, my lashes were no more amazing than when i use lash exact. [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. I've used this product several times now and overall like it. I guess I still don't have down the curling technique however. I've been off chemo for four months now, and my lashes aren't yet as long as they use to be, but this mascara does the job and makes them look nice and long. The only drawback for me is the large handle. Makes me feel like I'm about to drop the wand, but with each use, I'm getting better with it. This is a product I will keep using and recommend. I found the container a bit slippery in my hand so didn't feel like I had a lot of control of the brush due to the smoothness of the plastic. My lashes looked great if I applied slowly, curling the brush away from my eyes as the package instructed. My beef was how quickly the product dried up - after only a few weeks it's clumpy and either empty (weird) or genuinely dried out (and I know not to "pump" the brush in my mascara, which for those of you out there who aren't aware, it forces air into your mascara tube, speeding up the drying out process). Good for a short-term mascara but nothing revolutionary after it clumped up. I wouldn't buy again, going back to my Maybelline Full n' Soft favourite. reviews Twenty. Twenty's my number. I have used/tried/hated/loved/thrown out/'inherited' about twenty different types of mascara. Of all twenty, which is my favourite? Well, I honestly can't say. I find mascara is like shampoo/conditioner. The first few times you use it you see the difference and you love it or you hate it, but eventually you're not going to see any change in your hair and you'll end up buying a new product just so you can see the difference again. I do also have a tendency to think that most cheaper mascaras just won't do the trick for my lashes. Which is also why I wouldn't rate it right away... I wanted to give it a few chances! review Oh, Cover Girl, why bright orange?! ...Hmmm...probably so I can find it easier in the makeup bag. [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. I've heard good things about this product and finally decided to purchase it. I bought "very black" for 8.99 at shoppers (turns out it was actually on sale)...anyways I couldn't wait to get home to try it out and I must say it lives up to the hype. Lash blast did not clump and made my lashes look longer and thicker. I usually don't like drug store mascara or Cover Girl products for that matter but this mascara has changed my mind. I would recommend this mascara to anyone. Cover Girl Lash Blast still comes second to my favorite Benefit BadGal Lashes though!
