Hard Candy Suede Quartet

I really like this eyeshadow and recommend it! The colors look great together and are very pigmented. Which means you can make it work for day or night depending how much you put on. It really stayed on well all day and didn't crease at all. The blue is a really beautiful blue that I've not seen in most eyeshadow lines before. I got lots of compliments when I wore these colors. If you are not afraid of color, then this eyeshadow Quartet is for you!

If you're looking for rich, pigmented shadow that is versatile and fool-proof, look no further than Hard Candy's collection of pallets. I picked Suede to write about because out of the three I own, it is undoubtably my favorite. Perfect for making this seasons' coppery smoky eye, and versatile enough to be day wear or night wear. Layers on color beautifully - the more you layer, the richer the color is. And the unexpected blue really does make those eyes pop. I never fail to get compliments on my eyes when I wear these shades, and the wear is long lasting without any primer or base used. Comes with both a useless foam applicator and a wonderful small angled brush for lines and defining. Compact is small enough to take with you, and has a nice large mirror that is perfect for retouching. It's also a great way to try some of Hard Candy's colors before committing to a full pan of them as well. I'll certainly keep them in my makeup bag for a long time to come. The only downside to these collections is the price point, but if you use them often enough as I do, you'll find it's a bargain in the long run.
