reviews I really don't understand why this product won the award as "best of Sephora", seems like I am the only one who dislikes this product. This cleanser did not do anything for me. It never removed my make-up and it felt as if I was just slathering on product on my face, rather than a cleanser designed to clean my face. From my experience, I had to apply it to my face 2-3 times in order to remove any make-up on my face. . . but that's just me? I have oily skin and even though I am 32 years old at times I break out like a teenager and I hate it. So, this cleanser I used sparingly, only at night, in case it did not react well with my skin. After a week of use, I have not noticed any bad reaction and I really like this product. I like it because you only need a tiny amount and so the bottle will likely last between six an eight months. And it does not seem to have any perfumes or dyes in it. The only thing you need to make sure of is to rinse your face well because its a bit heavy. I find my skin is quite moisturized after use, as opposed to other cleansers that make my face feel dry. Overall, I’d recommend this product to anyone! This is a great cleanser. I have very oily skin and this, even though oil is listed as one of the ingredients, has not made me breakout. My skin is actually clearer since I started using it about 8 months ago. It has a different smell, but not unpleasant. It removes makeup quite well, although it is still not the best with removing eye makeup. I'm really happy with it... it's one of the few products that helped with my skin's acne and does not irritate or overdry. This is my very first philosophy product, and it won't be my last. I've heard lots of fabulous things about this cleanser. It really works wonders for me. It leaves my skin so fresh and clean but far from dried out. It is left soft and touchable. The scent is citrusy, which is the perfect pick-me-up first thing in the morning! My skin has never broken out since I switched to this cleanser. That is a great feat as my skin usually breaks out when I switch up my skin care regime. My only complaint about this cleanser: it says it can get rid of makeup as well, but I have yet to see it wash down my mascara. Still though, I find that every time I use Purity Made Simple, my face is clean enough to skip the toner. reviews After many years using Clinique's 3-step system, and gettingno results, I leaped at a chance to try Philosophy's products. I am really impressed with Philosophy's Purity Made Simple cleanser. Never in my 10+ years using clinique has my face felt this clean when I finished washinf it. I always felt like it was coated and then a follow-up toner only helped to dry out my skin.
