Softlips PURE Natural Lip Balm - Fragrance Free

I saw this on sale for 99 cents so I figured I'd give it a try. And I like it so far. I like that it has natural ingredients and does not have a waxy feel like chapstick. It moisturizes my lips but I do have to keep reapplying it every few hours. I have sensitive lips and I haven't had an allergic reaction yet. Will probably buy again.

I was excited to try this product because i'm in love with all the other softlips chapsticks.
But Softlips Pure is extremely disappointing for me.
It is so oily to the point that it feel like i'm rubbing lard on my lips
and I don't like how there isn't the cooling methanol effect.

it works well as a moisturizer, but there's nothing special about it that would let me want to buy it a second time.

I love how this stuff comes out like lipstick! It is so soothing and non-addictive, and the fragrance free is great for sensitive skin.

I received this lip balm through the product review club. Of the three I received this was my favourite. I liked the fact that its fragrance free as I have sensitive skin. I find it a bit greasy when first applied but it does soak in and makes my lips softer so that makes it a good buy for me. I'd definite buy it!

I got this in the mail from the product review club. Out of the 3, this was my 2nd favorite. The non scent is a little gluey waxy smelling, so it's not my favorite. My lips felt very moisturized from using this. It has the slightest bit of gloss, but you probably need to use something else on top. I had to apply it every few hrs. I was going to let my best friend/roomie use it, since it's unsented and he's a guy, but eek it has almond oil and he is allergic to nuts. so beware if you are... also, it does kind of look like a lipstick, so may be too girly for a guy, despite the fact that it isnt a lipstick at all. So, i would reccomend it. I generally use moisturizing lip glosses instead of a chapstick type thing, so i might not purchase this myself, but i will definitely use what i have!

Great option for those who prefer a fragrance free product. Personally I prefer the citrus, but both work great. This would be an excellent option for those who wear lip balm under lipstick. Great packaging and application. Does not leave the chapped peeling feeling on your lips.

I agree with the other reviewers - the fragrance free is the best one of the three. I still think that the PURE natural lip balms from Softlips are not exactly the most moisturizing. I like how it's all natural. This was a great innovation from Softlips. I might buy this again in the future.

I had the pleasure of reviewing this product as part of the product review team as well as the other two, flavors of this lip balm. I reviewed the citrus more exclusively and that review says it all about all of them but I would have to say I do recommend the fragrance free for those people who are sensitive to items that have fragrance. This is an excellent product, it's natural and that's a big plus. But I'd still have to say I'd only use it as a primer for my lipstick or lipgloss and not so much as a stand alone product. Just like the citrus, it goes on smooth and makes your lips feel silky and baby soft, but again, if I didn't apply it every 10 minutes it absorbed into my lips and they felt dry. And after a few days they began to peel a bit. I can't say it will have that effect on everyone because every one reacts differently to different products. As a primer, it's awesome.
