Hidden in Hamilton's downtown core is Barimi Bune (16 Jarvis St.). It's a Korean restaurant with some Japanese food, but I recommend the Korean menu more than the Japanese food. The service is always friendly but occasionally it can be a bit slow when it's really packed. You always get lots of Korean appetizers with free refills. The owner of the restaurant used to be an interior decorator so the atmosphere is very modern and fun. Also, their menu is affordable and the food taste really good, I recommend getting the bulgogi or bibimbap.
