When you walk in, the ambiance is contemporary and sophisiticated with original artwork on the walls and stylish, yet comfy leather chairs and seats. The bar is a great place to indulge in after work chisme with the girls, or get cozy with your man.

My husband and I were immediately seated and within five minutes, we had drinks and fresh out of the fryer chips with a tomato-tomatillo blend of salsa. My margarita was a perfect blend tart sweetness and earthy tequila that got my insides buzzing.

We always share the carnitas plate because we want to have room for the dessert. The carnitas are generous cuts of tender pork with a carmelized skin that melt in your mouth. The beans have a ham undertone and the rice is just the my grandma made it with peas, carrots and corn.

Now, the flan is an experience unto itself. The caramel is not too thick and sticky. The custard is thick and velvety, and you still lick every morsel off your spoon.
