    My main pick for bbq

This is my favourite tin foil. I have used it mainly for meat products in the oven and nothing sticks, also great for bbqing. It is more expensive than regular tin foil. You just have to remember the shiny side is not the non stick side. The dull side is where the non stick part is and where the food goes. Not sure if thats on the packaging.

I’m not very impressed with this Alcan Non-stick Baking Foil

I picked this Alcan non-stick baking foil up at Wal-Mart last week hoping it would save me from using cooking spray and, just because I was curious to see if it would really work. That same night I made some chicken legs, nothing special, I just coated them in some shake & bake and baked them as directed on the package. When I went to turn them, about half way through, they weren’t stuck to the foil, but they never are for me at this point when I just use regular foil. The real test was going to be when they were fully cooked and I was ready to remove them from the foil lined cookie sheet. To my disappointment the first leg was stuck, but only a little. How ever the rest were so stuck that I thought I was going to need a crowbar to remove them from the pan. Do to all the yanking I had to do to get the legs to release from the so called non-stick foil; it tore, allowing the chicken grease to spill onto my cooking sheet causing a bigger mess. Needless to say, I’m not very impressed with this Alcan Non-stick Baking Foil. I won’t be buying it again, but if you’d like to try it out for yourself, you won’t break the bank to do so, its not to expensive at $3.47 for 25 feet of foil.
