Effective but strong in flavour!

I tested AOR’s DGL (deglycyrrhizinated licorice) which helped me a lot with my Ulcerative Colitis symptoms. I love that this product is made in Canada. This product is made for reduction in inflammation and supports the gastrointestinal mucosa which was effective for me! The taste is licorice with a hint of sweetness in an easy to chew tablet. The taste is strong but the product is effective. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

Couldn't even stomach it

I have tried products before from this company and they have been wonderful. Unfortunately this product I could not even give a decent review to as I could not even stomach the taste of the product. Some people will be able to and I encourage those who want the benefits of the product to try, but I cannot give an honest review as I could barely swallow them.

It Works!

I have been taking DGL chewable tablets for a couple of weeks and have found much relief from the heartburn and stomach discomfort that I was experiencing. It works! I like that it is a herbal tablet and the taste of licorice is nice. The tablets are easy to chew and again, the flavour is pleasant. I will continue to use. It is a great product.

I can no longer take magnesium so this arrived right on time! I checked with my Doctor Who agreed for me to try it. It has helped with my acid reflux and stomach acid issues. I can eat spaghetti and other tomato sauces with less challenge now. I took it as prescribed – 20 minutes before a meal – ended it helped. Fair warning – the texture once it dissolves is pasty and the taste of black licorice was strong for me - I don’t like black licorice. But I continue to use it because it works… A glass of water helps the medicine go down ha ha. If you are looking for help with your acid reflux, check in with your doctor and consider trying this it’s available online and in a lot of stores.

I had never heard of this supplement before but was excited to try it at an alternative to what I normally use for heartburn and indigestion. I found this product really effective and fast acting, I chewed one tablet when i felt i had some heartburn and within 15 minutes I was feeling much better and it lasted throughout the day. The tablet has an easy to chew texture and pleasant taste which made them easy to use. I found that I only needed one when I was experiencing heartburn but I like that you can take more if needed without any negative side effects.

Always go for natural ingredients

Between early mornings, travelling allmost every other day as a flight attendant, changing routines, workouts and trying to eat well and on the go, sometimes the outside food doesn’t sit well with the stomach acid that’s where DGL comes in,I love that it is science-backed supplement designed to help soothe minor digestive discomfort and support digestive health naturally, I have seen difference the next day after taking it. I often struggle with upset stomach because as a flight attendant eating food outside doesn’t always go as planned but now I am relieved that I have DGL. I am definitely keeping this in my work lunchbag.

Good natural Option

The taste wasn't too bad for a chewable; the lemon flavour is nice, I am not a fan of the texture though. I found that these pills did help a little with discomfort and acid reflux I usually get after eating. overall a good natural option.
