I have had the Apple for about 2 years now and while it is OK .. it is definitely not worth the money you pay for it . I think I will try a new Android phone when I m up for a new phone !
I got mine when they were first introduced so of course there are many newer hotter phone out there now but I honestly couldnt live without it! Its my computer, planner, my everything all in one sleek little tablet. I use the app's more then i use the actual phone lol The only downsides I have ever experienced are the battery doesnt stay charged for very long even when your hardly using any apps or the phone or ipod itself and it crashes a lot and needs a hard reset to get things functioning again. I also find that apples customer service line needs a major overhaul. If you sign a 3 year contract with the phone the company should honor that and offer 3 year customer service if you have any problems but they dont. I am totally sticking with the iPhone brand and couldnt function without it!
a couple of years ago 2009 to be exact I purchased my 3 G iphone, I love it. It has taken communicating to a level I never thought possible. I think this year I will upgrade to the new 4gs. More room and I like that you can take videos. This phone replaces my ipod/phone and camera/address book ect. Totally worth every penny paid and I could not live without it.
This was by far the best phone I had owned, the only thing better is the iPhone 4 which I now currently own.
It absolutely amazes me how far cell phone technology has come along in the past few years. This is not just a phone, it is like a mini computer! I can say that if you try this phone, you will never go back to another product. Keys are a little small but it won't take long till you get the hang of it!
Oh iphone 3G, how I love thee. I got my apple iphone 3G last year when I signed on for a three year contract with telus mobility. I absolutely love it! There are so many applications that are available for a small fee. The applications are so great because they are usefull every day. I especially like the ebay application because it has a bar code scanner that allows you to search for items via the barcode which comes in really handy when pricing out items at the store. The camera takes pretty decent pictures too so that's defenitely a bonus when you have children who always do the funniest things when you've forgotten the camera at home. I will defenitely stick with the iphones for future purchases as long as they are as reliable and usefull as the iphone 3G.
i love my iPhone, I used it travelling overseas with the translater and could buy train tickets and everything. You don't need to be roaming all the time and the features are very easy to turn on and off. Even for the person who is not too techy, I can figure it out.
The iPhone broke ground in 2009 when Apple launched it's first version - the 3G. Being the inpatient, have-to-have-it-NOW person I am, I renewed my contract for 3years and got the phone for $149. I can't imagine living without it now. When I leave it at home I instantly regret not having immediate access to email. I also have a habit of leaving the house without knowing exactly where I'm headed, so I use my phone for directions. I'm not a big app person, but I use basic utilities like the calculator (which is so easy to use with such a big screen), calendar and iPod. Even for simple phone functions, the iPhone makes these super-easy, i.e.: visual voicemail, texting with a landscape keyboard and searching through hundreds of contacts.
It's a sexy Apple product - aren't they all - that sucked me in instantly. Now I'm kicking myself because the newest version - iPhone4 - is SO much cooler and now I want that.
The only major complaint I have is the service, which is likely due to my service provider - Telus. My 3G drops calls occasionally and can be crackly at times. Since I moved out of my 9th story condo, these issues have lessened.
I've had a cute little white iPhone for several months after having a blackberry for years and I'll admit I do like the iPhone better. While I found my blackberry more reliable and easier to type with, the iPhone just has so much more functionality and it's much better for web browsing. I have to log into ChickAdvisor all the time and the Blackberry would take so long to load the pages I'd give up. With my iPhone it's instant. I'm not going to give a full technical overview but here's how it stacks up to the BBerry:
What BBerry does better:
- Typing. It's soooo much easier to tap out an email with this thing vs. the iPhone where I struggle to hit the letters right and it always guesses (and then proceeds to auto fill) the wrong words. I've sent many nonsensical emails from it.
- The camera has a flash. iPhone does not
- The BBerry automatically downloads your emails all the time in the background. The iPhone does not. You have to have your email open in order for it to download. If like me you get a ton of emails, this is a pain.
What iPhone does better:
- Hey, it just looks cooler!
- Web browsing is 10X easier and faster
- Much better for listening to music.
- Tons of cool aps
- Very easy to configure
Overall I prefer my iPhone, though I hope they will eventually fix the things I mentioned.
