Very pleased with this product

I am very happy to have been selected to review the Aveeno Repairing CICA Hand Mask!
My hands have been very dry over the winter, and these helped tremendously. I noticed a difference the very next day.

Much softer hands, easy to use!

I was actually pretty impressed with this hand mask! I wasn't initially expecting much and I already have reasonably soft skin on my hands, but this definitely improved it. Because I wanted to see if it fit bigger hands well, I used one on my partner's large hand and one on my own medium sized hand. Both fitted great because, frankly, the gloves are comically large. The fingers are a little on the short side though and it can make it feel a bit ill-fitting, but easier than most hair-dye gloves. You'll be able to do stuff while wearing them, but will definitely lose some dexterity. I was able to play a tricky level of a video game while wearing, but my reactions were slower.

For those with super dry skin (like my partner) I fully recommend leaving it on 20 mins instead of the recommended 10. Because it's just like a lotion, it won't damage your hands like leaving on a wash-off product for too long. With a 20 minute soak, dry and cracked hands become noticeably repaired and extremely soft! It does feel a bit weird pushing your hand in (like a bag of lotion), but once on I didn't find it uncomfortable at all. My only complaint is that on my partner's hand the 'closure' kept coming unstuck, but I didn't have that problem, so I don't know if it's a poor quality sticker issue, or maybe wrist size. The glove stays on perfectly fine by itself, so the clasp seems a bit redundant anyway.

Afterwards, you just rub the remaining lotion in, your hands will feel a bit lotiony for around ten minutes afterwards, but no stickiness and the softness is massively noticeable. It has a slightly sweet, oaty smell. Given how soft my hand is, I'd definitely use this again!

Soft moisturized hands

I wash my hands a lot throughout the day and often have very dry hands, so this Aveeno Repairing Cica Hand Mask was definitely a treat for me! I left the masks on my hands for 10 minutes and was left with super soft hands! The mask was easy to use.. open.. wear it for 10 minutes.. enjoy a relaxing hands free 10 minutes and voila.. soft moisturized hands! :) This is a nice pamper for in-between my manicure sessions.

I love that there is no overpowering scents in these products.

Soft hands

I liked that the hand mask softened my hands but the cream left over was really greasy and took a while to absorb.
Also, the scent though not overwhelming was not good, it smelled like plastic and lingered for a while.

Neat product

I really loved the hand mask! The moisture that it gave my hands was amazing! It didn’t burn the cracked skin that I have and it made my hands so soft! There isn’t much of a smell which is great. However the stickers on the pads to hold the gloves on barely stuck and the paper would stick to the sticker and make them not useable. Other then that they are amazing!

Wow! Just Wow!

I received this product free to test and review in exchange for my honest opinion. I just tried out this hand mask while relaxing in the tub this evening. The product is a single pair of gloves with cream on the inside. When you open the product, the gloves are joined together and you will have to separate them. You insert one hand into each glove and use the self adhesive tab to seal the plastic around each wrist. I’ve heard some people had issues with the tabs. They’re very easy to use and I had no issues, they stayed in place for the full 10 minutes. The product is very user friendly, easy to use and extremely effective. The product is targeted to repair extremely dry skin. My hands and skin becomes very dry in the winter due to weather. The product in these gloves is amazing, very high quality ingredients that will leave your skin feeling nourished, moisturized and incredibly soft. There’s actually so much product in them they’re worth saving and reusing the following day. I definitely think if you’re easy on the product, fold it up, store it in the original package you could easily get a second use out of it. I will certainly recommend this product to my family and friends! The only downside is I did not like the smell of the plastic. I tend to massage the product into my hands to ensure it absorbed. The more you rubbed the gloves together, the stronger it smelled. Given the quality of the product, effectiveness and price point (only $3.99 on Amazon!) the plastic smell is only minor. I will purchase these again. Go ahead and try them because you will love them too!

My skin felt pretty ideal after the treatment

I did like this product, however, both tabs on the gloves became unglued while trying to use them. Before applying the 2nd glove, I peeled the paper first, to see it is would stay better, and it did. I wore these for the recommended time, and was happy with the moisturizer that came from them. About 2 hours after trying the product, my skin still feels pretty nice. I am still left wondering though, would it be 'just as good' to put on a pair of medical gloves with regular lotion underneath? I would not buy these, but was happy to try them for free.

Quick fix to smooth hands!

The Aveeno repairing cica hand mask is great for wanting smooth hands fast! This treatment leaves your hands feeling soft and supple. The only complaint I have is that it leaves a bit of a residue on the hands, but doesn't carry a strong scent.

Des mains ultra douces en quelques minutes

Je suis très surprise que mes mains soient devenues aussi douce en si peu de temps! Ce masque a fait le plus grand bien à mes mains à cette fin d'hiver. En plus, la senteur est légère, donc pas d'abus sur le parfum et douce. Je recommande

Fun treat, but not all that special

I tried these in the spring after a cold Canadian weekend, on my very dry, flakey hands. It did help with some of the flakiness, but the next morning they were feeling dry again, just less visibly so. I #gotitfree through ChickAdvisor, but i don't think I would purchase it again. I would instead just use the better value of the hand cream alone with some reusable gloves.
I was disappointed with how much single-use plastic was used for these, and the straps did not work well to tighten the gloves.
