Gorgeous looking, could use some grips

A lot of times things look nicer online than they actually are, so I was thrilled when this arrived looking just as beautiful and flawless as the picture. Mine had no problems with scratches, peeling paint or anything visual and looked wonderful when assembled. I really love the swirl patterns and soft mint colouring. The biggest appeal of this is visual, as many kids step stools look like large plastic monstrosities, this is suitable for slightly older kids or just so that you can have something that fits with your decor.

Be aware the weight limit is 154 lbs.

So that just leaves my two small complaints and assembly to talk about. First, the complaints. On carpet, you have nothing to worry about, but I did find that on tiled floor and wood laminate this step has an unfortunate tendency to slide a little. For that reason I would recommend you attach non-slip grips to the bottom and to be honest, if Battat included these in the future it would be a five star product.

My second (minor) annoyance and suggestion for Battat would be related to the stickers on the product. While most are not very visible, some people will peel them off (at least one was visible when assembled) and it leaves a sticky mark and ruins the look and feel of the stool. Using stickers that are more easily removable will erase this problem in the future!

    So, onto assembly.

In terms of Assembly, it's pretty easy. I was able to easily figure it out (be careful to make sure the steps are facing the same way as the picture) and even mostly assemble it myself. Towards the end of tightening the screws with the included Allen (hex) key, it can become quite stiff, so if you have mobility issues you might need a hand at the end. Overall, though, extremely easy to do and little chance of messing up.
