Balneum Lotion for itchy dry skin

I was expecting big things from this lotion as it claimed to help dry itchy skin. It comes in a lotion but it is too watery, my skin just sucked it in, and was still as dry as before. It did not stop the itching and left a residue which was most unpleasant, such a shame as I was hoping I had found the answer to my problem skin.
