I bought this after I went to Vegas with a girlfirend and forgot my foundation. She brought this with her and in all of my pics, I glow, I look flawless and I look natural! She swore by it and so I got home and blew the 75 bucks on the starter kit. It inluded the base primer, the mineral veil, 2 shades of medium and the bronzer. Plus a small concealer brush, a medium and large brush and an instructional DVD. The price at first seems steep, but once you use it and see the results, well, I haven't given the price a second thought. I have oily, acne proned skin that has never been perfect. Every makeup I've used previously clogs my pores or makes me feel like I'm wearing a mask. I was pretty skeptical at first, applying layer after layer, the drying factor (being a powder), or the cake factor (because of the oil). I was sure this was a lot of hype. It feels like you're wearing nothing and looks so natural. I love this stuff!

I love this make up, it really does feel light and doesn't make your face look oily. I have tried other mineral make up before but they made my face break out. i have also been a long time user of mac make up but i had to give it up because it felt like chalk on my skin and it started to make my skin look oily by the end of the day. the good thing about mac make up is it didn't make my face break out thats why i used it for awhile until i tried bare minerals. the kit is not very expensive, its worth every penny. if you are a first time user, you might find it frustrating applicating it because of the different brushes and different powder you need but once you get used to it, it obviously doesn't take that long. the end results is worth every minute of your time!!

I LOVE BARE MINERALS! I have pretty light skin but tan very quickly once out in the sun. I have been using it for almost two years and haven't even thought about buying any other type of foundation. I can use it when I am pale in the winter and even in the summer when my skin gets a little darker. I use the same color and it gives me a fresh look. I never feel like I am wearing makeup and I don't have to worry about breaking out in the morning if I "forget" to wash my makeup off at night. I was skeptical about buying it because it is kind of pricey but the amount of uses and satisfaction you get, will definitely make it worth the splurge.

Also if you use another bronzer on top, it doesn't look so cakey and you don't get that heavy feeling.

I bought the starter kit - mainly because I had run out of sponges for my liquid foundation. But also out of curiosity. I've tried mineral eye shadows before and have been thoroughly impressed by the vibrancy of the color and how little you actually needed. And so - the next step: foundation

I love the way the mineral foundation covers and leaves no trace of make-up on your face - especially considering you put 3 different layers on your face (base, foundation and bronzer). It's so light and actually helps prevent break-outs because your skin is allowed to breathe.

My only 'beef' is that it doesn't really take care of shine. Especially when you use the liquid skin 'prep' - it only seems to add to the sheen of your skin - which not everyone enjoys. I would suggest using a matte face lotion before using the I.D. Bare Minerals foundation if you have oily skin.

This is the most amazing makeup in the world!!!

Absolutely love this foundation. No matter how many times I try regular liquid foundation I always go back to this. I never feel like I'm wearing make-up. It evens out my skin and I can control how much coverage I want. The best part is that I never get a foundation line on my face like regular liquid foundation. It lasts through work-outs, humidity, rain, etc. I sleep in it and wake up not feeling guilty about it!

I will not wear any other makeup! I love this stuff. It is so easy to find now compared to when I started wearing it years ago.

Its a nice product and makes my skin look flawless and natural.

I really am a huge fan of Bare Minerals and if you can afford it and are one of those people who wants to advertise that she uses a brand name like Bare Minerals - I say go for it. It's clearly of the highest quality and works like a charm to cover as a foundation. I found it to be long wearing, and the colors are perfect for my fair skin.

However - I've tried lots of mineral makeups that are on the market and there are several options that are just as effective and less expensive. Bottom line - it IS a great product and I highly recommend it. But - if you want a good mineral makeup and a low price, this is not your brand.
