Good cover but clogs easily

Overall I like the powder however I find the colour does leave a yellowish tone to skin. If mature skin although my lines are fine it seems to clog and clump. Doesn’t not last as long as cheap alternative powder

Horrible cystic acne!

I was very enthusiastic trying Bare Minerals Foundation Powder. The application and finish was great. I was unaware of the Bismuth Oxychloride causing cystic acne. I am in my 40s and never had anything more than a few pimples here and there. I do not have sensitive skin. This product destroyed my skin and still has not recovered. If you do not have a reaction to bismuth, the product was fine.

i like the skin protection but not the shine

If you`re a girl with acne scaring like myself I would say skip this powder.
I originally tried this out because i am trying to go more natural for my skins healing.
I didn`t find this powder covered any of the acne spots on my face it didn`t show up at all!

This may be a good setting powder but not a good foundation!

This is not my favourite product. I find it looks a bit cakey on my skin and seems to stick in my pores, sometimes making them look more noticeable. I think it would be a good product for someone who has great skin that just needs evening out and nothing more, but I personally won't buy again. I tend to prefer lighter products that I can't really tell I'm wearing.

I bought this from a major shopping channel and was so excited to try it, based on all they were saying. After applying it, I was so disappointed! Not only did it not cover completely, it made my face feel tight and it creased into what wrinkles I do have. I gave it more than 1 try, but always the same end result. I had to send it back and it is on the expensive side too.

I was so excited to try this foundation. I was looking for a medium/buildable coverage with a natural finish and had heard such great things about bareminerals. Unfortunately this foundation absolutely sucked. I have a feeling this is meant for people that have great skin already, and just want something EXTREMELY sheer to even out coloring. I ended up throwing it out.

When I started using this product my skin was rather oily and it gave me incredible coverage while looking very natural. However, now my skin is getting dry and the while the coverage is still good it makes my skin look older and drier. This is a oily girl product.

This was ok at first. Then I noticed my skin breaking out and redness all over will not ever buy again. But maybe it will work on someone else! So good luck with it!

I bought this foundation because I was hoping to find something light for daily wear that would be kind to my skin. I love the idea behind mineral makeup but after trying it, I think it may just not be right for some people.

I have very pale, acne-prone skin and wear foundation to cover up the red spots I get from healing acne. A light coat of this foundation doesn't cover them very well at all, and a coat heavy enough to cover ends up looking too obvious, leaving a kind of chalky cakey appearance.

If you have fairly clear skin, this may work just fine, but if you need heavier coverage, this may not be very effective for you.
